Hands down the best pork katsu we ever had. It was thick and juicy with the best proportion of fat and meat. We wanted to try the pork cutlet with cheese, unfortunately, it was sold out when we got seated. We also had the hamburg with japanese grated radish, which was delicious too! There were no english menu and the staff speak limited english. Queue was rather long, we waited at least 1 hour, so I recommend arriving earlier (we got there at about 730pm).

Lovely small local restaurant away from the busy area. We came here at 8pm on weekday and still have four people queuing in front of us. Luckily we only waited for about 20 mins. We ordered the Japanese hamburger and the recommended fried beef with additional salad and soup set. Everything was delicious, the chef also reminded us be aware of the wasabi that came with the beef steak. Service was great and we loved the warm and welcoming atmosphere. And the price was really cheap with this service and quality. Highly recommended.

Accessibility: 3/5 Typical lunch/dinner hours, not hard to find. Expect to wait in line for lunch, even if you arrive 20-30min before opening. Food: 4/5 This is a teishoku (meal set) place, with lots of breaded protein options (pork cutlet, fried shrimp etc) coming alongside salads, rice and soup. The portion sizes are decent, and they have good variety. Their tonjiru is pretty good, but the rest of the good could have used just a little more seasoning. Customer Experience: 3/5 Seems to just be a husband/wife couple running the show, so wait times are a little long especially when business is booming. Pricing: 4/5 For a metropolitan area and considering the amount of food you can get for your yen, the pricing is good. Overally, I like the place but not enough to line up for it again.

This little restaurant always seems very crowded with a long line of waiting customers outside, but the food was really worth the wait. Some dish may be out of stock if you come near ending hours. I want to try 海軍カレー next time!!
