No coin-operated machine: photos and menus pasted on the walls of this modest but delicious ramen-ya. Five small tables and counter seating for three? Arrived at 1105 and almost all tables were taken. Helpful waitress, I ordered the ¥890 ramen setto (miso) w/ chashu-don. Ramen was average, but the chashu bowl was terrific. Other Chinese offerings incl. gyoza and ramen. Limited hours for lunch service, but I would def return.
View on GoogleA ramen shop in Atsubetsu Ward, Sapporo. A bowl of ramen is 590 yen, an incredibly low price. A famous shop in Sapporo I visited recently charged 1200 yen a bowl, so this is less than half. It's a unique ramen served in an iron pot, and from the looks of it, they didn't skimp on the toppings (chashu, menma, bean sprouts, wakame, etc.). The soup doesn't exactly pack a punch, but it was tasty. I think it's a ramen shop that gives working people energy.
View on GoogleMiso 590 yen Mini butadon +300 yen An ‘Ahh~ this is it, this is all I need’ kind of shop Probably Kobayashi Seimen's aged noodles. The most orthodox curly noodles. The soup is ordinary miso in a good way. Somehow it feels nostalgic. Maybe it's the wakame? And the mini butadon with tender loin is tasty too. If they pull this off with an 890 yen set, the mega chains around here are gonna cry. The taste is very good. And it's not a flavor that's trying too hard to be quirky. The service is just what's needed, not overbearing, and brisk. No elaborate decor, but the shop is kept spotless. Serving a bowl for 590 yen would be flat-out impossible for an ordinary business. I think there's tireless effort behind it. If it were in my neighborhood, I'd want to go every week.
View on GoogleMy first visit! I went during lunch break, and there were two groups, about 8 people, lined up outside! Got seated in about 15 minutes. Ordered the lunch set of iron-pot miso ramen + mini butadon. Both value for money and taste were GOOD👌 If you go to Hokkaido, it's one shop I recommend🍜
View on GoogleA ramen shop a little under 700m from both Hibarigaoka and Oyachi stations on the Sapporo Subway Tozai Line (Oyachi feels slightly closer). It faces National Route 12, and there's parking for 3 cars in front. The interior is fairly spacious, with 4 counter-style table seats, one 2-person table, one 4-person table, and I think there were also raised tatami seats. As soon as I walked in I was cheerfully shown to a seat, and with brisk ordering and serving, the bowl arrived in no time. The grilled black soy sauce ramen I ordered came in an iron pot, piping hot as expected. The sweet charred soy sauce dyes even the noodles black, so it looks really heavy, but it's loaded with fragrant bean sprouts, so it wasn't greasy, and it was a delicious ramen I never got tired of right to the end. A shop where friendly service lets you enjoy your meal, and that makes you want to come back.
