This time I came for lunch. I ordered the wagyu nakaochi lunch set, and my companion ordered the sagari lunch set. This place has a solid lunch menu: rice bowls start from around 700 yen, and yakiniku lunch sets from around 1,000 yen. Another nice point is that rice is the same price up to a large serving. It's a welcome price range when you want a casual yakiniku lunch. My impression is that it's a community-oriented place you can easily drop into, starting from lunch. There are table seats and counter seats, and the atmosphere makes it easy to come alone or with family. As for the all-important meat, it's quite satisfying for this price range. The wagyu nakaochi is tender, you can taste the sweetness of the fat, and it goes great with rice. The sagari also has a nice meaty texture, and the quality was plenty good for a lunch. It comes with soup, salad, kimchi and more, so overall satisfaction is fairly high. Rather than special high-end yakiniku, I think it works well as "a place to casually have a slightly nicer lunch than usual." That said, the amount of meat in the yakiniku lunch sets is a bit modest. With a large serving of rice, I was almost left with extra rice toward the end, so this time we added 2 servings of kalbi à la carte partway through. As a result, we went a little over the lunch budget I'd planned, but considering the quality of the meat, it was within a reasonable range. On the other hand, if you want to eat until you're properly full, you might be more satisfied ordering extra à la carte from the start. A spot where you can enjoy quality yakiniku at reasonable prices. For lunch, I think the cost performance is quite good.

A yakiniku place I'd been curious about for a while! Decided on a whim and just showed up! A cozy little place on a narrow triangular lot! But inside there were 4 tables for four (one of them a private room) plus a counter, so it was bigger than I expected! Honestly, just looking from outside, you can't picture what it's like inside lol The tongue was a bit tough, but overall it was delicious and I was satisfied! The salt and black pepper on the table go well with every kind of meat ◯!! The cheese stone-grilled bibimbap, which I tried for the first time, had a cheese-to-kimchi balance that was spot on for me personally! Really delicious, I recommend it! The staff were lively and pleasant too! Looks like they're open not just at night but for lunch too, so next time I think I'll try it for lunch!

Kalbi Lunch Set Premium Kalbi Lunch Set 990 yen tax incl. (comes with rice, soup, kimchi) Beef belly kalbi 490 yen tax incl. 2026.3.24. Even if it's lunch, can you really eat yakiniku for 990 yen? That question is what brought me here for the first time. When choosing from the menu, the cheapest thing that caught my eye was the Kalbi Lunch Set Premium Kalbi Lunch Set 990 yen tax incl. (comes with rice, soup, kimchi), and I figured there surely wouldn't be much meat, so I also ordered the beef belly kalbi for 490 yen tax incl. The meat in the set that arrived was 6 thin slices of beef belly, and with just that I wouldn't have felt like I'd eaten much. The extra beef belly kalbi I'd ordered was 12 slices and felt a little thicker than the meat in the set. With just this, it was a fully satisfying kalbi lunch for 1480 yen total. The place is small, but it has a very calm atmosphere and I could eat in a clean environment. It was very delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I'd only ever been going to suuuper cheap yakiniku places, so I was shaking with the feeling of eating proper yakiniku for the first time in ages. The horumon was so tender……………I got the cheapest beef tongue, and even that was insanely good, so how good must the premium tongue be,,,,, want to try it next time. The way the cold noodles were cooked: 120 points!!!! Nice and firm, the best!!!! I'll be back!!!!!!

Visited 2023/1/24 【Yakiniku Kobo Sakura】Toyohira Ward, Sapporo This time I came to Yakiniku Kobo Sakura. It's a yakiniku place on Hitsujigaoka-dori; at lunchtime you can get things like roast beef bowls, kalbi bowls, and yakiniku sets at relatively reasonable prices, and at dinner there are all-you-can-eat plans, all-you-can-drink, student-only plans, and weekday discount menus. There are private rooms and even a kids' space, so it might be easy for families with children to use too! ▼Here's what I ate that day. ・Sagari (half price on weekdays) 940 yen→470 yen ・Wagyu nakaochi kalbi 860 yen ・Premium wagyu kalbi (Sendai beef) 1190 yen ・Yaki-shabu 980 yen ・Premium tongue with green onion (vertically cut beef tongue slices) 1490 yen ・Pork horumon (salt) 390 yen ・Cheese chicken thigh (spicy miso) 790 yen ・Cheese stone-grilled bibimbap 930 yen ・Sakura's choregi-style salad 560 yen ・Large rice 330 yen ・All-you-can-drink 1590 yen All the meat was delicious overall! The best was probably the premium kalbi, I guess? It really feels like you're eating yakiniku! It's pretty heavily marbled but not that greasy. The sagari and nakaochi kalbi were also thick and tasty. The vertically cut beef tongue slices were nice too. I think this might be the first time I've had one this thin? Yaki-shabu is grilled for just a moment and eaten with a ponzu-like sauce; it's fragrant from the grilling, but it's pretty much like eating shabu-shabu. The only thing I'd complain about is probably the cheese chicken thigh. The cheese didn't melt all the way like a cheese fondue, and I thought about ordering wine on the all-you-can-drink and pouring it into the cheese. Also, the container is aluminum foil, so when you try to dip in the cheese, the whole container moves. There's also a great-value lunchtime, and it seems you can get things like the roast beef bowl at quite a bargain, so lunch looks good too!
