Worth a try for dinner. The crowd is much lesser on a weekday but always good to make reservation when dining in Japan. Spent some great yakiniku time with my family. The staff not really proficient in English so be ready to use Google translate.

Wanting to eat horumon in Susukino, I visited Yakiniku Horumon Shin Narubonzu Rojiura-ten. As the name suggests, it has a hideaway feel of a back alley, and I was excited from the moment I walked in. This time I ordered mainly horumon, and what impressed me was that everything was fresh and had almost no odor. The sweetness of the fat and the springy texture came through clearly, and it went perfectly with alcohol. The sauce in particular was delicious, not too strong and really bringing out the flavor of the meat, so I never got tired of it until the end. Slowly savoring it while watching how it was grilling was also relaxing, and before I knew it I had ordered more. The staff were also energetic and polite, so the comfort earns high marks. Easy to use with friends or on a date, it's a place I'd want to go back to for horumon in Susukino.
