Delicious food. The tempura was sooo good. I had the snow crab miso and wow so flavorful. If you are on bus tour go here first.

Amazing experience in Sapporo, some of the best seafood I’ve ever had in my life. I felt extremely welcome here and the staff went above and beyond to celebrate that I was visiting from Canada.

The restaurant is close to the fish market. The staff was friendly, and the food was fresh. We had Hokke fish (quite big), some crab egg, crab meat salad, and a conger eel sushi. The food price was reasonable. We enjoyed it very much.

We visited Wakakoma Sushi because Anthony Bourdain came here, and it was a memorable experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was excellent. The uni and salmon roe bowl was especially impressive — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Seeing Bourdain’s signature on the wall added a meaningful touch. It is a cool stop for anyone who followed his work. That said, you can find sushi of similar quality for a lower price at other restaurants in Sapporo. The experience is great, but you are partly paying for the name and the connection to Bourdain. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit. It is worth a stop if you are a Bourdain fan or want to try a well-regarded sushi spot with a little extra story behind it.

Located to very close to the fresh fish market, not only tourists but locals come for fresh and tasty dishes. It might be a bit pricy but worth visiting.
