⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Hidden Gem for Halal Wagyu & Lamb in Sapporo We recently dined at Wagyu Shabu-Shabu Hitsuji-to-Udon (Lamb to Udon) and were impressed by both the quality and value. The beautifully presented selection of Shiretoko Wagyu and premium lamb cuts was fresh, tender, and perfect for shabu-shabu. The variety of dipping sauces enhanced every bite without overpowering the natural flavors of the meat. The restaurant has a warm, cosy atmosphere, blending modern Japanese design with a relaxed dining experience. Service was attentive, and the halal-friendly menu makes it a fantastic option for Muslim travelers looking for something special in Sapporo. The highlight was the combination of premium ingredients, generous portions, and surprisingly reasonable prices. Finishing the meal with Hokkaido udon was the perfect touch. Amazing food, excellent value, and a welcoming ambience. Highly recommended for anyone seeking quality halal Wagyu and lamb in Sapporo. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
View on GoogleThe food here was amazing! It’s a bit expensive but definitely worth the price you pay for! The location is in a quiet corner of the basement of the mall. The beef katsu with curry powder was my favourite part of the meal. There were a lot of halal options also for my muslim friend to eat.😋 The staff were also very friendly and courteous to us and we enjoyed our meal to the fullest, will definitely come back here to eat in the future!
View on GoogleWe came here bc of the google reviews. It seems all the good food places are located in the basements here lol. The lady asked us if we had reservations we said no. We still got seated. The Japanese people probably came after work and they were having a really loud socialising conversation type of thing over their meal. It was really funny immersing ourselves into Japanese corporate after work culture. I get it now 🙇🏻♀️ Still, service was great and the food, most importantly was amazing. The lamb and Wagyu beef were extremely tender and the ginger sauce I think, as well as the chilli, complemented the meat incredibly well. It's shoes off as well, but it's much more comfortable because there's a hole in the ground for your legs to extend freely. Great
View on GoogleI got the private room that could fit 6 persons at an additional cost. It was a nice and quiet room, but food was underwhelming and expensive. The small appetiser was better than the course set which cost 8500 yen. The entire meat platter was tough, meat was also bland and portion was not much for the price. Soup was tasteless. The wagyu cutlet was slightly overcooked. In total, 1 main course set and 1 wagyu cutlet, rice and a hot tea cost 12700 yen.
View on GoogleThis restaurant does not mention halal in its shop name, but they do serve a halal set/course. Thanks to other Muslim reviewers, we knew about this option. We chose the halal course from the menu. The appetizer and baguette were surprisingly very nice. The roasted lamb was soft, tender, and full of flavor. The main dish was the highlight of the meal, the meat literally melted in the mouth. The dipping sauce tasted really good and complemented the dish well. The ambience of the restaurant was pleasant and cozy, even though the location felt a bit out of the world lol. It is in the basement, so dont get confused when you have to go down to find it. Overall, i am a satisfying halal diner!
