A solid meal. Food can be a little salty and oily at times but still really tasty overall! Atmosphere was nice and welcoming.
View on GoogleHachikyo Izakaya is renowned for its signature dish, "つっこ飯" (Tsukko Meshi), a bowl of rice topped with a generous serving of ikura (salmon roe). This dish is not only delicious but also presented with a unique performance, making it a must-try. We opted for the set menu with a two-hour free flow. The set menu includes 10 different dishes, all served in generous portions. The staff at Hachikyo Izakaya were exceptionally friendly and polite, adding to the overall positive experience. The only downside is the difficulty in booking a table, especially on weekends. Despite multiple attempts to call, we were unable to reach them. Therefore, if you plan to visit this izakaya, I highly recommend making a reservation well in advance.
View on GoogleFun dining experience especially the theatrical Tsukko Meshi. Worth the price of admission. Quite tasty. The other items on the menu are delicious. Try everything on the menu.
