Super satisfied meal, great udon. Tempura and fried food are yummy too! Staffs are very friendly. Highly recommend.
View on GoogleThis Udon is very nice quality!! Japanese Dashi has so good and clear taste. There is nothing station or bus stop near the restaurant that Is not convenient for foreigners.
View on GoogleA satisfying udon shop that made me want to come back and eat again. I'm already thinking about what to have next time. In a calm atmosphere, I enjoyed carefully made udon. 【About the Komugi Curry】 What I came for this time was the Komugi Curry, available only at dinner time. Eggplant, fried shrimp, pork, plus thick, fluffy pumpkin and melt-in-your-mouth long green onion—every ingredient has a real presence. The curry flavor is gentle and leans sweet, goes well with the udon, and I enjoyed it to the end without getting tired of it. 【About the taste of the udon】 What I like about this shop's flavor is that the saltiness doesn't come on too strong. Not only with the Komugi Curry, I felt the same about another udon I had before. It gives the impression that the ingredients and dashi are handled with care, and after finishing I find myself thinking, "Ah, that was delicious." 【About the atmosphere inside】 A calm Japanese-style space with jazz as background music. This combination blends in surprisingly well, and even at dinner you don't feel rushed. I liked it as a place less about liveliness and more about leisurely enjoying the meal itself. 【About parking】 There are several parking spaces in front of and behind the shop, so it's easy to stop by by car.
View on GoogleAbout a 5-minute walk, just under, from "Hachiken Station" on the Gakuen Toshi Line Along Miyanomori Kita 24-jo-dori (Hokkaido Prefectural Route 89) A Sanuki udon shop where you can eat in Hokkaido Opened in 2005 (Heisei 17), this year is its 21st year It already has one foot in the ranks of long-established shops, a shop with dignity It's a little away from central Sapporo but close to Sapporo Racecourse and the Sapporo Central Wholesale Market and a bit further is "Shiroi Koibito Park" The interior is like a stylish soba shop, and clean If it were a bit more casual, I think students from Hokkaido University could drop in easily, though 💦 I arrived 10 minutes before opening and nobody was waiting I browsed work clothes at the Workman across the street while gauging how full the parking lot was (lol) There are about 5 parking spaces in front of the shop The second lot behind the shop has 8 spaces The noren was hung right as it opened at 11 so I parked in the dedicated lot in front of the shop and went in Ordering is verbal and you pay after you finish eating The customers were middle-aged and older people, salarymen, and office ladies I, a middle-aged person, stood out oddly 😅 Aaaah... The uncle sitting across from me was enjoying his beer so much I wanted a draft beer too but I have to... get on the expressway to Takikawa for work 💦 There were no good-looking udon shops in Takikawa but there was a good-looking ramen shop, though... ◆Kake udon (700 yen), Kashiwa-ten mori (680 yen) The noodles are medium-thick, straight, with rounded edges The firmness itself is rather low, not the hardness everyone looks for, but you enjoy a chewy resistance when you bite The surface is also very smooth with a slippery feel on the tongue I'm not a carp (lol), but they're really easy to slurp There was an assessment that the noodles for cold bukkake are hard Since the rumor was that the bukkake noodles were extra firm and there was no cold kake, choosing hot kake was the right call 👍 I found out later that you can change from the default thick noodles to thin noodles for an extra 100 yen And the zaru udon is served with thin noodles I love Yoshida udon from Yamanashi Prefecture, said to be the hardest in Japan, so hardness is no problem but I also love Ise udon (lol) The broth is very clear, a good impression at first glance 💕 The dashi is a very refined one carefully drawn from selected honkarebushi katsuo, natural makombu kelp, and so on It's a gentle, soothing Kansai style The tori-ten uses chicken thigh Freshly fried and piping hot, the coating crispy and the meat juicy It's like karaage but very tender It may be my first time in a while dipping chicken tempura in tentsuyu This makes me want a lot of grated ginger 😆 Next time I want to try the well-regarded Koebi Bukkake Thank you for the meal (*・ω・)ノ
View on GoogleMay 2026 (Sat) First visit Opens at 11:00. Parking: 5 spaces in front of the shop and more behind it. Payment seems to be cash only. I stopped by on the way to a nearby sweets shop. I arrived before opening, so I waited in the car and went in as soon as it opened! Oh! A clean interior! There are 3 kozashiki tables (sunken kotatsu style), and the table seats and counter seats are spacious too, with no clutter at all, a very comfortable interior. I ordered the "Small Shrimp and Burdock Kakiage Udon", "Spring Water Pork Tsuke Udon", and "Mini Kashiwa Tendon"! The udon arrived in about 5 minutes! Wow, quite a generous portion! First I tried the broth of the kakiage udon. The shrimp stock comes through and it's delicious! The udon isn't too firm either, with just the right bite. Then a bite of the kashiwa tendon. The chicken is tender with no gamey smell, the tempura coating is crispy, and the sauce isn't too salty, delicious. Next, a bite of the pork tsuke udon. This dipping sauce is just too good. The pork fat is light, and the just-right saltiness soaks in. The bowl is big and the amount of udon is quite generous, so you'll definitely be full. Customers came one after another right at opening and it was full right away. It's a popular shop! Thank you for the meal. I have one more place I want to come back to.
