Visited this famous Hokkaido conveyor belt sushi brand with my family for lunch after visiting the Historical Village of Hokkaido. . Here are the food my sis and I ordered: -Hokkaido Cod Shirako Sushi (JPY594) The shirako was incredibly rich and creamy without any unpleasant fishiness, offering a sweet and oceanic flavour. -Selection of Three Winter Delicacies (JPY649) This featured Selected Raw Salmon, Yellowtail and Monkfish Liver Sushi. The raw salmon and yellowtail were thickly sliced with a great balance of meat and fat. The monkfish liver was dense and buttery with a clean, subtle saltiness from the sea. -Atsubetsu Recommended Three-Piece Set C (JPY528) This featured Salmon Roe, Raw Salmon and Bonito with Plentiful Toppings. While not as thickly sliced as the winter delicacies, they were still very fresh. -Raw Octopus Sushi (JPY396) With a beautiful, shimmering white appearance, the raw octopus was not rubbery at all. It had a tender, almost creamy center and a satisfyingly firm snap in every bite, along with a naturally sweet flavour. -Japanese Squid Sushi (JPY352) This had a striking, opaque white colour and a smooth, glossy surface. It offered a firm, almost snappy resistance at first, but as we chewed, it became wonderfully creamy and slightly sticky. -Rich & Savory Red Salmon Roe Gunkan Sushi (JPY352) The roe consisted of small, glistening spheres with a deep, translucent orange-red colour. They were incredibly fresh and had a satisfyingly crisp pop, releasing an intense burst of sweet and salty oceanic flavour. -Ezo-whelk Sushi (JPY352) This ivory-coloured sushi had slightly curly edges and a snappy texture. It was very crunchy with a strong, muscular resistance that made it feel quite substantial. It tasted wonderfully briny. -Assorted Seafood Gunkan Sushi This gunkan was overflowing with a colourful variety of diced sashimi, including bright orange salmon, deep red tuna, and translucent snapper. It was a symphony of umami, combining the richness of the salmon, the clean meatiness of the tuna, and the delicate sweetness of the snapper. -Japanese Steamed Egg Custard (JPY297) Served piping hot, it was silky smooth and incredibly delicate with a rich dashi flavour. It had a savoury-sweet profile, with shiitake mushrooms and seafood tucked inside the custard. . Overall, the sushi were all super fresh with great umami, and very reasonably priced. . Toriton is often considered as one of the top three conveyor belt sushi resto in Hokkadio, so it is immensely popular and usually has a long queue. We deliberately chose a branch further away from the main tourist spots. However, even though we arrived around 13:50, we still had to wait ard 20 mins. . We ordered our food through a tablet that supported various languages, and the chefs served the food to us directly. We could watch them prepare everything from our seats. There is also free parking available outside.

Luckily didn’t wait long to get seats as I heard from some people that usually there’s long queue as it’s a popular restaurant in Hokkaido. Sushi is very fresh. It’s one of the best sushi I ever had.

Very nice and fresh sushi. Good choice for small bites and store is quite roomy. Easy parking. Price is also decent.

Found out about this place when I'm randomly searching for a lunch place. Generally, the shop is tourist friendly. Some of the staff could speak English well and they have English menu as well although some of the items were not translated. The price is considerably cheap and their food is fresh and superb! Love their salmon belly and chanmushi!!! I will definitely come back again!

The staffs are nice. Many choices on sushi. Price is good 👍🏽
