手打ちそば さくらの定食屋Teuchi soba Sakura no teishokuya BRANCH Sapporo Tsukisamu
As the only さくら branch focused mainly on set meals, this restaurant was created so customers could eat their fill, including unlimited rice and miso soup. Although it is within a complex, the shops are scattered through a park-like setting, with a green open space and an artificial stream directly in front. You can also eat and drink outside, and on warm summer days some customers sit on benches to eat. Inside, there are counter and table seats in an open, airy space. If you are looking for a restaurant in 月寒, please visit “手打ちそばさくらの定食屋 ブランチ月寒店”.

2025.11 It is inside a large dining facility (?) toward the back of トライアル. This is a set-meal version of 手打ちそばさくら. I went a little after 13:30 on a holiday, with 1 group waiting ahead of me. Turnover was quick, so I did not wait that long. I ordered curry rice and the mini soba you can add for 198 yen. A soba restaurant’s curry with a good dashi flavor. Delicious. Since it is さくら’s soba, the noodles are extra thick. Even the mini portion is satisfying. I had been thinking that since I was there, I wanted some soba too~, so being able to add a little was great! The miso soup is self-service and unlimited. Large rice portions are free too. It is not dirt cheap, but I think it offers pretty good value!
View on GoogleVisited for a slightly late lunch. A set available only during weekday lunch hours (11:00〜15:00), with soba, seasoned rice cooked with other ingredients, and salad. The rice bowl stays the same size, but you can choose a large, medium, or small serving. The soba is thick 田舎そば in the style of “いずみ食堂” in 日高門別. The broth was delicious too, and I finished almost everything. The seasoned rice was tasty as well. Reading the menu, it seems they also cater to a quick evening drink… Might be surprisingly nice? 〜Added 2023.7.27〜 A midsummer day when even Sapporo exceeded 30℃. Visited because I wanted a refreshing lunch. I had the “きのこそば” served bukkake-style… Maybe I ate a little too much? 〜Added 2024.4.24〜 Visited for another slightly late lunch today. On weekdays, the lunch-only set is the obvious choice. The thick rustic soba is satisfying, and you can make up any shortfall with the amount of seasoned rice… Was “large” a bit too much after all? The curry rice interests me too… Adding “お椀ミニそば (198 yen)” seems like a way to enjoy both. 〜Added 2024.7.9〜 Today I was somehow in the mood for a “set meal” or “rice bowl”. But I also wanted the soba here… so I tried “ザンタレ丼”. Pretty tasty. 〜Added 2024.8.22〜 Talking about “soba” with a coworker made me want “田舎そば”, so I visited. Does this mean I have now tried all the weekday-only lunch options? I also had the “だし巻き玉子” I had been curious about for ages, so satisfaction ×2. 〜Added 2024.10.15〜 “Soba restaurant curry” makes you curious and raises your expectations, right? … So I ordered it. Well, it tasted as expected and was delicious. 〜Added 2025.4.15〜 Visited because I wanted hearty rustic soba for the first time in a while. But… it has gotten expensive 😮💨 〜Added 2025.8.12〜 Today I added “お椀ミニそば” to “豚しょうが焼丼”. 〜Added 2025.6.6〜 I felt like having “さくら” soba again after a long time. It felt a little chilly for month 6… so I chose warm “えび天そば”. Delicious as always 😋, but the price has gone up too… Though I think it is fair with all the “rising prices” 😮💨 Thank you for the meal again today.
View on GoogleWe visited as 2 people. We ordered warm soba with mini curry, and warm dipping soba with rice topped with natto. When the order was repeated, I heard rice topped with egg, so I checked, but the expression on the reply was so intense that I froze. The broth for both the plain soba and dipping soba was lukewarm, the soba had no firmness, and although the curry sauce was warm, the chicken pieces were lukewarm. This was the first time I found the food here unappetizing. Perhaps because I usually happened to visit when the male manager? was there, I always enjoyed the food, but today was disappointing. I had never paid attention to how lively the kitchen always was, but if service becomes inconsistent like today, I question all the chatting while they work.
View on GoogleThis is a soba restaurant in a commercial complex. Even looking in from outside, you can see customers inside—it is popular. I like thin soba such as 更科, so I was a little worried about whether noodles this thick would be okay. I ordered 天ざる. The noodle portion was huge! The tempura was delicious〜(👍 ̄▽ ̄)👍 tasty The ingredients were perfectly prepared! The squid was incredibly tender! The large shrimp were properly prepared and expertly fried! The pumpkin was soft and fluffy too! The soba was thick, but it had a satisfying bite as I ate, and the dipping sauce was delicious too! The soba cooking water was rich and thick as well, making it delicious right through the finish. Watching people who came in and ordered after me, once they started eating, they could not stop and finished in one go, saying “Ah〜 that was delicious〜”. I understand that reaction when food is good. It was tastier than it looked, with restaurant flavors you cannot get at home. A place I want to visit again! Thank you for the meal!
View on GoogleOur first visit was for lunch before a concert. As fans of 田舎そば, we were delighted by these thick, firm noodles. The tempura was expertly fried and crisp, there was plenty of plum paste, and the mini curry had dashi in it and was delicious. Thanks to that, we enjoyed the concert to the fullest too.
