I highly recommend trying the footbath in Jozankei especially dueing winter, it’s a fun, relaxing little stop and a great way to unwind while sightseeing. Super casual and easy to enjoy, even if you’re just passing through. If you forget a towel, no worries, there’s a vending machine right there where you can buy one for 200 yen. Totally worth it for the experience.

Free foot onsen, it's beautiful at night. No one was there, maybe because its below zero temperature. Stop by taking few pictures on our way exploring convenient stores journey.

When visited, no other people and had enjoyed and good feeling. If you can, better to deliver own towel even though there is a towel vending machine…

Jozankei Footbath is free of charge so do soak your feet and you will feel relax and comfortable. A small towel will come in handy. The scenes around Jozankei Onsen is awesome especially if you go there in Autumn. This is a must-visit place to indulge yourself in a beautiful & natural scene. However, we mistakenly took a normal bus (instead of the express bus straight to the destination) which required a transfer at the terminal in order to reach Jozankei Onsen. So do take note of the transport to make sure you take the right bus.

Water was really hot, so there was a hose to cold it a bit. It's was nice,but it's near the main avenue so it's noisy.
