Great sushi good price

Just a short walk from 札幌場外市場. Two of us visited on Saturday around 12:29! A long-established sushi restaurant retaining an old-fashioned atmosphere, with many local customers and a calm setting. It is a popular place to enjoy fresh toppings at reasonable prices, thanks to its proximity to the market. Lunch service is 11:00〜13:30. ▷ 生寿司大盛　1,300円 A wide variety of nigiri, including tuna, salmon, scallops, squid, octopus, shrimp, sea eel, and egg, with cucumber rolls and miso soup. All the toppings were fresh, and the rice portions were slightly small and easy to eat. The scallops were especially sweet, and the sea eel was tender and fluffy. For all this at 1,300円, I felt it was excellent value. The satisfaction exceeds the price. Recommended for anyone wanting fresh sushi at a reasonable price around the market!

I went after a man in the outer market’s sales area recommended the restaurant. We ordered various rice bowls, top-grade nigiri, egg, and other items. The owner runs it alone, and several groups arrived after us during morning service, so serving took some time. We enjoyed the food. Credit cards were not accepted.

Visited the sushi restaurant 「菊水」 in the outer market of 札幌中央卸売市場. I ordered サッポロクラッシック on draft and top-grade nigiri, while my wife ordered 松. クラッシック draft has that deliciousness unique to 札幌, and even the accompanying shiokara tastes different! The top-grade sushi costs 3,300円, but includes 10 pieces, with sea urchin, salmon roe, medium-fatty tuna, abalone, botan shrimp, and more, at a quality that would probably cost 5,000円 in 東京!! There is also lunch sushi from 950円 and a grilled hokke set meal for 1,350円. Fantastic value!! There are lots of places in the outer market, but based on my experience, I absolutely recommend this one‼️
