It's a sushi restaurant, but it has a wide variety of lunch sets, all with generous portions. That day, I ordered the pork chop set from the handwritten menu. The pork was large and juicy, and delicious coated in the sauce. As you'd expect from a sushi restaurant, it also came with sashimi. It was filling and delicious.

It's a sushi restaurant, but it has a lunch menu during the day. I ordered butadon; the portion was generous and satisfying. The sauce was light, which I personally liked, though people who like a stronger sauce might find it lacking⁉️ The miso soup was delicious too‼️ The shogayaki set also had plenty of sliced pork loin and was filling😁 It also came with a little sashimi on the side, which was nice

The owner is far too unfriendly. The gari is too sour. The salmon is watery. The tuna is small. I ordered nama chirashi, but when the owner brought it, he just said "chirashi," put it down and left, then brought the miso soup without a word. Miso soup with mushrooms and onions. I would have liked a clear soup with the nama chirashi. The lunch menu had more meat dishes. Maybe those are better.

A sushi restaurant loved by locals, and it's nice that they serve lunch even on weekends. When I went in, there were locals who seemed to be regulars. I ordered chirashi and was surprised to find uni, but the other toppings were noticeably cucumber, tamagoyaki and such, so it felt a little skimpy. I don't need the uni; I'd rather have more regular sashimi. It didn't look bad, but there seemed to be a little too little seafood, so eating it wasn't quite satisfying. The miso soup was good, though. Kiraito in Kikusui, which has already closed, had plenty of toppings at a similar price, so I'd give this 3 stars.

As other comments mention, the interior certainly can't be called clean, and the service isn't particularly good, so I wouldn't recommend it to anyone fussy about those things. It's more like a neighborhood sushi restaurant that also does catering and serves set meals. The atmosphere felt somewhat nostalgic, and personally I was able to enjoy a relaxed meal! This time I ordered the "zangi set" for 780円, which was also on the sign outside. For the price, it was generous, even came with a little sashimi, and had nostalgic seasoning—the quintessential Hokkaido zangi flavor.
