I used to eat there when i was living in Sapporo. A delicious cheap Thai food.
View on GoogleIt's a bit of a distance from Sapporo Station, but from the nearest station, Kita-12-jo Station, it's right there when you get off. Since it was before lunchtime, there were no other customers, and I went in with a slightly heavy atmosphere. I ordered the green curry, gapao, and the Thai salad set. Everything was tasty, but I think gapao tastes better with pork after all. There's no option to choose the spice level, and it's not that hot at first, but as you keep eating you start to feel quite a lot of heat. A customer who came in later tried to get the spice level changed, but was told it wasn't possible, so it might be tough for people who can't handle spice.
View on GoogleThey said it's Thai-"style" curry, but it was just a regular delicious Thai curry! (I don't know the precise definition though…) I ordered what looked like the spiciest one, the extra-spicy Chicken The Special, limited to weekends and holidays. The chicken was fall-apart tender. Loads of vegetables. Savory and spicy, the best! There was plenty of soup and the flavor was fairly strong, so a bit more rice would've been nice~ (Though by a normal person's standards I don't think it's an amount you'd call "small", so casually upping the rice might be risky). The lychee sherbet was refreshing and good too. The parking lot is in front of the shop, but note that it's one-way, from the south side out to the north side. (Google navigation will probably guide you to the north side)
View on GoogleOn the 1st floor of a building, look for the orange sign Inside there was 1 customer, and the place looks like a coffee shop Somehow it feels very Showa-era (^^) I'd already decided on green curry but took a look at the menu Oh, there's a mini set Mini salad and mini drink for 150 yen In the end I ordered green curry and the mini set It seems the owner runs the place alone The mini set came first This much salad is just right, isn't it The mango juice is my treat for after the meal Here comes the green curry‼️ The menu says "Please pour over the rice to eat" so I poured plenty on and ate (^^) Not that spicy, very easy to eat and delicious There's a coconut aroma too The simple ingredients, bamboo shoots and pork, come in a good amount Plus a boiled egg—don't boiled eggs get you excited? Born in the Showa era, I love eggs ❤️ Still, why is it "Thai-style"❓ It would pass as Thai curry (^^) Thinking about that while eating is fun too (^^)
View on GoogleI got the green curry ladies' set with salad, drink, and dessert. It was delicious ✨ On another day I also tried the 380-yen morning set I'd been curious about! It's half a slice of toast so it's not a hearty breakfast, but the value is amazing ✨ I smelled cigarette smoke, so I think smoking is allowed. Super-fast wifi is available for free. At lunchtime they close when the curry runs out, so go early.
