It's been a while since I visited すき家. The branch near my home closed, so I stopped going as often. Since the pandemic, tablet ordering and serving robots have spread and become commonplace, but being given cold water when seated, ordering on a tablet, and having the food brought out when ready retains a warmth that serving robots lack, which I appreciate. Today I ordered the negitama gyudon+salad lunch set. I sat at the counter and enjoyed a delicious meal. Those coming by car should take care, as the location right beside an intersection limits entry and exit. (Lunch 2026/8/23)

すき家 札幌北野店. 2nd visit On Sunday, I thought I'd have lunch somewhere, but many places nearby close on Sundays, so I ended up at すき家. It was a little early for lunch, and the restaurant was lively with families having breakfast. That day I ordered the restaurant's top recommendation, chicken curry tantan nabe set meal ¥890. It arrived in under 5 minutes. Despite being a hotpot set meal, it wasn't properly bubbling when it arrived・・・。The chicken seemed to have been cooked beforehand, but somehow the dish didn't look appetizing. However, it tasted genuinely good, and like the curry, it came with hot spices so you could adjust the heat to your liking. That day reminded me again that すき家 has great rice! One last thing. I know the part-time staff are busy and have a lot to handle, but please cheer up and speak a little louder! Thanks for the meal. 1st visit I went out very early and looked for somewhere to eat, but this すき家 was the only place open nearby, so I went in. That day I had yawaraka chicken curry with spinach, which I'd enjoyed previously at the Eniwa branch. It arrived in under ５ minutes. It looked very appetizing. Last time I added hot sauce 3 times, but that day more than 5 times, pouring it on generously. It was just the right heat, and the chicken seemed more tender than before; I enjoyed it to the end. There seem to be mixed opinions about various things. Saturday, 2023/9, 8:30, I came for breakfast! It felt the same as always! This time I also brought my １-year-10-month-old child! Then a male staff member said, I'll bring you a child's chair! Such lovely service! His smile was nice too! We had a pleasant breakfast!👍 Even in the morning, it was almost full! The food came right after ordering! The flavor was as reliable as always!😋

The unagi is delicious. Touchscreen ordering is easy and convenient. They're famous for gyudon and unagi, but the curry is surprisingly good too. ２ pieces of karaage for 140円 is reasonably priced, piping hot, crispy and delicious—a recommended side dish.

I usually go to a different branch, but passed this one and went in for breakfast. There were already 5-6 customers, and perhaps they were busy, because no water came. Several hairs from the previous customer were still on the table. Even after ordering, the food didn't come for about 10 minutes. I'm used to the surprisingly fast service at other branches, so it felt very slow. The set meal that arrived also had a piece of eggshell sitting right in the fried egg's yolk. The staff spoke quietly and lacked energy. I'll never go to this branch again.
