I traveled to the Netherlands before, but I couldn't really enjoy the food. I never imagined there'd be a place in Sapporo where you can eat Dutch food. I happened to see the restaurant featured on TV, it looked delicious, so I paid a visit. What I ate: Bitterballen, something like small croquettes. Haring, salted herring Iwashing, salted sardines It was all very delicious.

As a Dutch person, it's nostalgic. Bitterballen are Dutch bite-sized croquettes, definitely give them a try. And then, savory pancakes or dessert pancakes.
