We call ourselves “Japan's hardest-to-find soup curry shop” (we're under an elevated road). Our generous vegetables, each carefully cooked, and rich yet light soup flavored with Japanese dashi are loved by customers of all ages, from children to seniors. We offer many curries, including our classic chicken leg that falls apart with a spoon (空色), tender and juicy 炙り白煮豚 marinated in our homemade sauce (琥珀色), and 木の子尽くし (紅葉色), so find your favorite color. ⚫︎Opening hours Lunch 11:29〜14:30L.O./15:00CLOSE Dinner 17:29〜20:00L.O./20:30CLOSE ※…

I heard this was a delicious hidden soup curry place, so I visited.🍛 It really was hidden under a bridge in Nishioka, which surprised me😅 The interior was stylish and calm, like a café. Since it was my first visit, I ordered 空色, the classic chicken leg soup curry. Spice level 2, regular rice. The soup probably uses seafood-based Japanese dashi, and was light yet fragrant, with gentle umami. The chicken leg was fall-apart tender and juicy, with plenty of chunky vegetables, all delicious. The classic fried eggplant in particular was fragrant and tasty! Also, root vegetables used in Japanese cooking, such as daikon, burdock, and sweet potato, which are unusual in soup curry, surprisingly went well with it and were delicious. It was like spicy oden😊 Payment is cash only, so please be aware. I also received a stamp card, and I'd like to return to try other menu items.😋✨️ Update I also tried the limited-quantity 初代琥珀色. The 炙り白煮豚 and homemade seasoned soft-boiled egg were both well seasoned and delicious on their own, and went well with both the soup curry and rice🐷🥚✨️ They say quantities are limited, but if I have another chance to visit, I'd like to have it again!

A stylish, tasteful, relaxing space. The best soup curry I've ever had! 紅葉色|木の子尽くし I ordered the one with 4 kinds of mushrooms and rice topped with spicy nametake. (Spice level 8, broccoli topping) The soup uses animal and seafood stocks, rich yet light, with a Japanese flavor and concentrated umami. I like spicy food, so I tried spice level 8. It was properly spicy, the perfect balance for a spice lover! The heat blended exquisitely with the soup, giving a sharp, needle-like accent to its deep flavor, and my head definitely started sweating◎ The ingredients were fall-apart tender, crisp, and crunchy, each vegetable in its absolute tastiest state◎ (The daikon was tender and slightly chewy, very◎! The mushrooms, whose origins they reportedly select carefully too, were superb) Above all, the staff were very courteous and considerate◎ I'll be back!! Thanks for the meal!! ⚠️ ※Cash only ※After one o'clock, quite a few weekday-only menu items may be sold out.

If you head along Mukogaoka-dori from the Premist Dome side toward Sumikawa, it's under the elevated bridge. I'd heard it was hard to find, so I checked beforehand and arrived without trouble. The area underneath is a parking lot. We arrived about 20 minutes before opening, but there were already around 3 groups waiting. As I remarked to my companion that it really was popular and parked the car, I saw a notice on the elevated structure's wall asking us to write our names and wait. We went to the restaurant, wrote our names, and waited for opening. At exactly 11:29, a staff member came out, called our names, and let us in in order. We took a spacious table by the window and checked the menu. They have stylish names such as 琥珀. Basically, the ingredients are the usual chicken, vegetables, mushrooms, and kakuni. Thinking it would be easier to understand if they simply called them chicken or kakuni… I ordered the kakuni menu item (I forgot its name💦). My companion ordered a limited item with another stylish name, but the only difference was a seasoned egg added to the kakuni… After a short wait, it arrived. The soup was Japanese-style, but stronger than other similar Japanese-style soups, and I liked it. My impression was a concentrated Japanese-style soup rather than a light one. All the ingredients were thoroughly cooked and delicious. I'll visit again if I have the chance.
