The food was okay, not amazing. We stopped by while driving and were surprised that each adult had to order one bowl of ramen. Our group couldn’t eat that much, and we ended up wasting food. I don’t mind minimum spending, but this rule was disappointing. The staff was polite, though communication in English was a bit difficult. Overall, a 3-star experience.

View on GoogleVisited in the morning during Golden Week (rainy). There were no other customers, so I was worried whether it was open. The noren was out, so I nervously opened the door and it was open. Decently tasty. I used a coupon for a good deal. I had the miso. The ginger was pronounced. Personally I'd like it a tiny bit less salty. The noodles are chewy and tasty. The texture of the wood ear mushrooms is a nice accent. I like pork belly chashu, so the chashu was good too.
View on GoogleLately I've had some misses when choosing shoyu, so I played it safe and picked the popular miso. The floating oil made me imagine it'd be oily, but while it's on the salty side, it also has the sweetness of white miso and is pretty tasty. Wanting some punch, I looked for garlic on the table, but there was a note saying to ask the staff, and since I'd already eaten more than half, I gave up. Next visit I'll definitely ask for it and eat it that way.
