A famous shop featured in magazines too. You can check their closing days on Instagram, so look them up! Reviews said you have to line up to eat here, so I queued 15 minutes before opening! Naturally, I got in first, but 2 groups were waiting right behind me. I think payment was cash only. At least PayPay and similar options aren't accepted. There's one clean Western-style toilet. As for the all-important soba flavor……yes, delicious! The soba is white and thin, refined yet flavorful. The tempura is good too! I got some soba cooking water and drank all the dipping broth as well! It's not exactly in the city center, but 30 minutes after lunchtime opening, there was already a line of 2、3 groups, so I recommend allowing plenty of time!
View on Google2026/04 lunch Mini kimchi rice bowl with cold soba (¥1,300) The soba is delicious, the dipping broth is salty, perhaps lacking sweetness. The kimchi has lots of liquid and is watery, which I don't like. The kakuni is delicious. I think both the portion and price are satisfying.
View on Google2025/04 Visited for weekday lunch. Ordered 特セット. The soba is Sarashina soba, fragrant, firm, and satisfying to eat. I suspect the broth is mainly bonito and kombu dashi; it's delicious without being salty. For the kakuni in the set, the staff suggested adding Tabasco to taste… It was my first time trying it, but Tabasco added a refreshing flavor and the combination wasn't bad. The tempura was fried crisp and delicious. Overall, a very satisfying lunch set. The kakuni and tempura are delicious. The kimchi is ordinary but goes well with rice. A delicious soba shop. Recommended.
View on GoogleVisited for Saturday lunch. りゅうきゅう丼 set 1500円. りゅうきゅう丼 is available only for a limited time right now. The horse mackerel is coated with toasted sesame, topped with myoga, shiso leaves, and egg yolk—summery and really delicious. Good enough to want year-round. The soba is delicious, of course, but I love that even in this heat, it's properly chilled in cold water! The rice's firmness is exactly my preference. When I ordered the kakuni set previously, I also thought, this rice is so good! There are perhaps 4 counter seats? Nice for solo diners too. It's popular, so depending on timing you may have to wait (there was a line when I left), but the delicious soba and the kind owner's service left me very satisfied.
View on GoogleVisited for lunch and ordered 特セット from the lunch sets. Tempura, kakuni, sides like kimchi, rice, and soba as the main dish…the value is simply excellent, and above all, despite the number of dishes, each one is delicious and shows careful preparation. Both my heart and stomach were satisfied.
