But if that does not bother you, you can enjoy very generous set meals for just over 1,000円. The soba has a firm bite and a lovely flavor, and is very delicious. There are daily A and B sets, with their contents written on a small whiteboard. The other menu options are plentiful too, so I always have trouble deciding. When busy, staff sometimes take the daily-special whiteboard to customers' tables, so if you cannot find it, ask. Depending on the menu, it seems you may be able to replace the soba with pork soup or something else. Recommended when you want to eat your fill.

I go there during my lunch break from work. Around 12時10分, I ordered the Katsudon set from the lunch menu. 12時30分, still nothing. 12時40分, still absolutely nothing. Losing patience, I called over a staff member, and only then did they say the Katsudon would take longer. I clearly was not confident I could finish Katsudon and soba in 10 minutes after waiting, so I asked them to change my order. (Requested Zaru Soba instead.) 12時48分, the soba arrived. For some reason, chicken karaage came with it as an apology (as if I had time to eat it). 12時54分, after cramming just the soba into my stomach, I went to pay. They handed me a mini Katsudon to take away as an apology and wrapped up the leftover karaage too. I cannot eat while working, you know? What are you thinking!? Dashed back to work. 12時59分, arrived at work. This really is unacceptable. If it is going to take time, you need to say so upfront or as soon as you realize. Office workers come to eat during a break that ends at 13時, so we cannot run over, you know? I really lost trust in the restaurant. I am now afraid to order set meals here. Then I later learned that Zaru Soba is not on the lunch menu. The amount charged was about 200円 more than Mori Soba, and just a few dozen yen more would have made it the same price as the lunch Katsudon set. Is that the price of the nori!? Seriously unbelievable... _______ A soba restaurant focused on delivery. Besides their own delivery service, they are also on Uber and Demae-can, so at lunchtime the phone and Demae-can notification sounds are nonstop. Their own delivery drivers also come and go constantly. Smoking is allowed inside, so other people's smoke drifts over while you eat. If you absolutely cannot stand cigarettes! Cannot tolerate them! This place will be difficult. As for the food, the soba tastes ordinary. Portions are on the large side. Avoid the large size unless you can really eat a lot. You get tired of it halfway through. If you want a hearty meal, I recommend the Katsudon set, Katsu Curry set, or Zangi set meal (all come with soba), each priced just under a thousand yen. There is also a menu outside lunch, but everything is over a thousand yen. Since I only go at lunchtime on weekdays, I have never ordered from it. I think the lunch menu is generous and satisfying enough. Sometimes they cannot keep up with the dining room, and their own drivers help serve food when they return. Also, veeeeery occasionally, if too many delivery orders come in at lunchtime, they will say “Sorry” when you try to enter for lunch. I only go about once every １～２ weeks, but this happens about once a year. Payment in the restaurant supports Paypay（& LINE Pay）and d払い. 楽天Pay is not accepted. Otherwise, cash. Credit cards are not accepted. For barcode payments, you scan the code at the restaurant. There is no bill slip; you tell them what you ate when paying. Usually the older lady on the floor remembers, so you pay after she checks that it matches what you said. If you go quite often, the older lady handling the floor remembers your face. Apparently the staff call her “Okaasan.” And when you pay by QR code, she gives an amusing reaction as soon as the payment screen appears (haha).

The soba noodles are cooked quite well, with a springy texture that is fairly uncommon. The fried chicken has a more traditional flavor and is okay. The place is rather old, and some customers smoke. If you are particular about the cleanliness of the surroundings, choosing another restaurant would be better.

The delivery staff were busy moving around, and it took quite a while for all my food to arrive. The restaurant's atmosphere... it was so dirty that I wondered whether they even intended to welcome dine-in customers... The food was very delicious, and I wanted to eat it again.
