I randomly stumbled across this place. Looked cool and the waitress was very cute. Only 2 people were there so I joined in. Then more people came and the place was full. I ordered food by picture and what the people next to me were eating. The owners nickname is the old town wolf. However he’s not very old. They said that he was 40. I forgot it in Japanese already? Everyone was friendly. Little to no English. However I was welcomed by everyone there. Everyone shook hands and laughed and hugged when I left. Great beginning to Sapporo. Was very inexpensive.
View on GoogleRandomly walking alone at Tanukikoji and found this shop. Attracted by its vibe and the staffs. Food is good, price is reasonable and staffs are friendly. They do have English menu incase you can’t read or understand Japanese. This place is so good until I went back for 3 times in a row. Will definitely go back again when I visit Sapporo in July.
View on GoogleThe restaurant was very retro. The seafood dishes were pricey. The BBQ crab legs did not have any meat in them. If any, whatever meat that was left in the shell was dry. The fish sashimi also had a lot of bones, which made the them inedible. On top of that, there was a 510 yen service charge per pax. Highly not recommended for foreigners.
View on GoogleWorst izakaya. Looks like great atmosphere but only for Japanese, strongly not recommend for any foreigner as they don't even look at you.
View on GoogleA great place! We stumbled upon it and were welcomed by the seemingly owner. Very enthousiast crew and happy to help some lost tourists. Food was tasty and for a good price and great ambience.
