The museum is a tad small but it’s very clean and kids enjoyed it. Unfortunately, a lot of the outdoor trains / buses were not open so kids could not go inside. On the plus side, it was free (we went on a Monday). Can be completed in hour
View on GoogleRecently remodeled Museum about the local transport in Sapporo - Trams, Subway and Buses - with a great outdoor exhibition of old trams and the first subway from 1972 and the prototypes that led to it. If you’re into transport it’s well worth a visit, and it’s free!
View on Google-Brilliant -Friendly staff -Great layout -Inertactive -Fun as a couple or as a family day out -Free to enter -Nice gift shop
View on GoogleFree and clean. Not much information for foreign visitors. Had to google translate. Still a good visit.
View on GoogleVisited on an errand. Actual nostalgic buses and subway trains are on display. And amazingly, it’s free. There is a bus-shaped exhibit at the entrance, then you head straight into exhibition area 第1 (indoors). There are various exhibits that railway fans might find irresistible. Outdoor exhibition areas 第2 and 第3 had actual streetcars and Namboku Line trains on display, but they had a bit of an abandoned-place feel, making for a somewhat odd atmosphere haha If you’re with small children, I think you can enjoy about 1 hour here🫡
