I ended up at Sapporo Teine (Olympia Ski Center) a bit later than planned, so the kids’ area was already closed. Even so, it was still nice to look around the ski resort and enjoy the scenery for a while. There wasn’t much to do beyond sightseeing, but it was a calm stop before catching the last bus.
View on GoogleStaff are so friendly. I bought tickets for Snow Land, my son adored the sledding and the snow floating activities. Convenient to go by Bigrun buses. The pistes are well maintained. Should go there for 1st time ski lessons

View on GoogleWe tried out night skiing here and had a wonderful time. Only one lift open but I’m there is a green and blue that is lit up. The view is wonderful. They take credit card for both lift tickets and rentals. You can rent all the gear including coats, pants, helmets, hats, goggles, and gloves. Great for beginners. There is a bus that goes directly up there which is 1000 yen and takes Suica or cash. Can’t wait to ski here again.
View on GoogleSo much fun at Teine! If you don’t ski/snowboard, you absolutely can enjoy the scenery while sipping a bowl of hot tempura soba. Many slopes for first timer. Beginner Group lessons only in Japanese language but you can get the private lesson in english.
