It was a great experience to walk in and have a very intimate way to see the Ainu culture. We were able to see the river and the “home” replicas. Way off the main town but accessible with the bus. It’s next to the Onsen I truly enjoyed too.

A very insightful and essential stop to really appreciate the Hokkaido region. It's contained but effective, with many physical traditional items you can touch and videos to watch, so you can feel really immerse in Ainu culture. I also really enjoyed the outside area and the traditional songs playing in the background throughout the property!

An amazing place to learn about Ainu culture. Quite far from the city center but definately worth it. Activities are for free, and the exhibit is very cheap.

This was a planned visit. We were visiting Hokkaido after taking an interest in the Ainu culture. The staff was very friendly and the exhibit was interactive and worth spending time on. There are also fun activities, crafts, and a shop.

They have an extensive exhibition on the basement floor. Visitors are allowed to touch the items and get a feel of it. There are also workshops for people who are interested in some hands on activities.
