Casual set meals with quite cheap prices; all of the options in the Japanese menu were under 1000 yen (although, I understood there is going to be a slight price increase in June 2025)! Good for an affordable lunch or quick dinner in the Kita-ku area!
View on GoogleOrdered beef stir-fry, pork cutlet curry rice, fried-chicken curry rice - everything was delicious. It's the kind of heartfelt warm meal when you are missing home.
View on GoogleDelicious and well-sized portions. It is a small restaurant that sells set meals. Most of the menu is the traditional meals of the workers, but these are freshly cooked... It is like eating a good meal at home.
View on GoogleA place which specialises in simple Japanese teishoku (a main, plus some rice, miso soup, a salad and pickles). It's simple but so good and filling. You can order even bigger plates but the normal ones are already quite big. I don't think they have an English menu but the waitress speaks remarkably good English.
View on GoogleOverall: 5 COVID-19 prevention: 5, hand sanitizer at entrance, acrylic board between seats and well ventilated Location: 4, a couple of min walk from Kita 24-Jo subway station but kinda far from Odori or Susukino where most of the tourists stay Foods: 5 Drinks: n/a Atmosphere: 5 Service: 4, “help yourself to cold water” Cost Performance: 5 Smoking: no Tourist Friendly: it depends Credit Card: no, cash only Comments: One of the most popular “teishoku” restaurants in Sapporo area, mainly loved by the Hokudai students. “B teishoku” is a must try dish!
