A staff member at the ramen shop next door said they were temporarily closed, so I had katsu curry. Whether it was the cooking method or two-year-old rice, the rice was hard. Since this supermarket seemed to have many elderly customers, I felt it might be rather difficult for them to eat? Also, the female staff member wearing a "service with a smile" badge wasn't smiling. ※I don't mind that myself. What concerns me is the latex gloves the staff wear. I've seen this at other shops too, but they kept them on while doing tasks other than cooking, so I'd like them to be strict about changing them. Personally, I won't be returning.

A curry shop in the first-floor food court of Seiyu Kiyota 🏃Let's Go Curry Seiyu Kiyota🏃 Curry is a national favorite that everyone loves! Or so it should be, but when it comes to food-court outlets, I get the impression they struggle quite a bit. King Curry, which used to be in AEON Higashi Sapporo… Tiger Curry, which used to be in AEON Naebo Sadly, both have closed. Meanwhile, Let's Go Curry has been gradually adding shops recently👀 2 shops opened within a one-kilometer radius of Umeshiro's house, so let's go! My wife chose the basic curry🍛 Cheap, isn't it~390円♪ With prices rising lately, even Tokachi's champion, "Indian Curry", has raised its prices. They're doing well to maintain this price. The sauce is thicker than CoCo壱, Curry Ken, Colombo, and so on, but doesn't have the sticky thickness of the roux curries at Clock, Indian, or Tiger Curry, and is thinner than Miyoshino. You can add heat, but it's a little disappointing that the powder leaves a slightly powdery feel. Mister Curry is similar in this respect. Perhaps a liquid option for adding heat would be better. Umeshiro was tired~so katsu curry with a cheese topping Since the prices are low, the cheese feels a bit cheap, but the tonkatsu is fairly good♪ An easy curry to grab quickly while shopping, dropping in on a whim after being drawn by the aroma🍛

I dropped into this tenant shop on a whim while out and about. The metal plate seemed to remind me of school lunches during compulsory education, making me feel nostalgic. The photo shows "sasami katsu curry". The sauce was richer than it looked and mildly spicy, with an appetizing flavor that I enjoyed. Although it was still within opening hours, I arrived right before closing, and they seemed to be closing the register, so I felt bad... Thankfully, this generous portion cost just 561円. Next time I have something to do nearby, I'll come a little earlier and eat at leisure.

The system is that the default rice portion is 250g, with +100円 for each additional 100g, up to a maximum of 850g. Of course, when you increase the rice, the curry sauce is increased accordingly. Spice levels 0 through 10 are free; beyond that costs an extra 100円, and you can upgrade to level 20. However, paid upgrades are restricted to "only those who have previously tried spice level 10". I had seafood curry with 350g of rice and spice level 5. As for the portion, it's "the amount of curry your parents serve when you return home after a long absence". As for the taste, it isn't the type that hits you with umami, but rather "a curry leaning slightly toward spice". A hybrid halfway between "curry packed with umami ingredients" and "curry made with aspirational foodie spices". The consistency is somewhat thick and heavy. You can taste the seafood stock throughout the sauce. The seafood stock came through more than in a shellfish seafood curry that's famous somewhere. My personal equation is that the spicier something gets, the less umami I can taste, but level 5 was just within that limit. I felt that any hotter and I wouldn't be able to appreciate this curry's umami. At the counter there are free powder sachets for adding "heat", "numbing sensation", and "sweetness". They're zip-sealed, but the edges of the opening are offset just right, making them subtly easy to open. The "heat powder" simply increases the heat, while the "sweetness powder" visibly contains grains that look like granulated sugar and simply makes it sweeter. My overall personal assessment is that the tasty curry in its basic form costs 429円 including tax, and you can change its flavor with free spices. Even the basic curry is probably much better than curry at places mainly serving gyudon, or rather, it's a curry without any odd flavors. Considering the price and free customization options, this is a curry shop I'll definitely return to. However, since it's in Seiyu's food court, there are no raised floor-seating areas or anything like that. Water also comes from the shared water dispenser.
