Japanese curry restaurant

Ramai is "soup curry born in Bali, raised in Sapporo". Valuing originality and the customer's perspective, since our founding we have pursued creating a relaxing, comfortable space. With partitioned seating, large tables, slightly dimmed lighting, and furniture and paintings purchased locally in Bali, the atmosphere is created as if you were in real Indonesia. The soup is chicken-based, using plenty of carefully selected spices, fruit, and vegetables. Spices are ground just before cooking to bring out their aroma and depth, resulting in Ramai's own complex, rich flavor. ※We recommend eating it at "slightly spicy"

The soup pedas is not as yummy as the curry. Large rice is HUGE. 450g, we ordered level 1 and 2 curry and I feel the level 2 is just right as the heat slowly builds up. The ice coffee is very intense, whilst the hot coffee is very watered down.

The dish you should not miss in Sapporo, it's truly a beautiful curry rendition. Unlike your usual curry sauce, this version is thinner and is meant to be slurped a soup. Ordered the chicken which comes in this huge leg quarter topped with all kinds of vegetables that are divine. I find the rice serving quite big, but surprisingly wasn't too far from finishing it in the end. It was just so good! Spiciness level is customizable so I had 2, but didn't find it too spicy, could've gone to level 3. We also tried the pork version, and boy the meat on that one was so tender - would recommend this more, although both are good! For drinks, had the iced coffee which is sadly not too good, but the lassi drinks are pretty good, great pair to the curry.

Unique experience. The curry favor rich andI have been craving it for a year now. I have not been able to have a similar curry since. I will go to Japan this autumn and it is a must for me to have RAMAI curry again. With meat, egg and favorable veggie in the curry, it was indeed a unique experience. Very cozy and quiet atmosphere. ありがとう ございます

I asked how many teams were ahead of us because the wait was getting so long, but the staff was so unfriendly about it.. 🙄🫠But the food? The soup curry is a total 10/10. It actually beats Suage for me! Just… please skip the coffee. It was honestly a disaster. ☕️❌

Dine in Ramai transports you to an exotic fusion of India and Southeast Asia with its distinctive atmosphere and unique soup curry. The interior decor, featuring Asian sculptures, statues, and a mysterious, dimly lit ambiance, creates an immersive dining experience that feels worlds apart from the typical Japanese restaurant. The highlight is their unique soup curry, which is a delightful departure from traditional Japanese fare, offering a rich and flavorful blend of spices that tantalizes the taste buds. This unexpected and enchanting culinary adventure makes Dine in Ramai a standout destination for anyone seeking a taste of something different in Japan.
