One of Sapporo's best ramens! Spicy miso (辛みそ) was a blast! A hearty bowl of soup in a traditional store run by a very nice couple (which always adds to the experience). 5/5, will come again and complete my ramen point card 😁

Amazing ramen. The miso ramen has a light refershing element to it, not heavy feeling like a lot of places. Highly recommend if you're in the area. I know I certainly kept coming back for more.

Today I took another shot at this place — I'd come once before, but it had just opened and was crowded, so I came back to try again! At the ticket machine my family chose the salt ramen (1000 yen), so I went with the large shoyu chashu-men (1450 yen)! Here it comes. First I took a sip of the soup: the piping hot soup, well covered with oil, has a deep richness, and the chunky, firm noodles soak up the soup's color, doubling the deliciousness! The chashu is tender and falls apart, not too hard and not too soft, just right and easy to eat, a mellow chashu — I enjoyed it deliciously again today 😋🍴💕! I also got to taste a little of the salt ramen my family was eating, and the salt soup was pleasant on the palate with a smooth flavor!

Came for lunch. It seems to be a shop that branched off from Sumire, and the ramen itself was exactly Sumire's miso ramen. Personally, I prefer this place to Sumire. That's because it felt like there was less oil than at Sumire, and the stir-fried bean sprouts also tasted fragrant. Also, there's lemon vinegar on the table, and adding it to change up the flavor as I ate was really tasty. Miso ramen really does go well with vinegar! lol I was grateful that a small rice is 50 yen. There were some personal disappointments too: the cubed chashu was tasty, but the sliced chashu was dry and hard to eat. Was that just a fluke? The shop was crowded, and by the time I left there was a wait to get in. There are counter seats and table seats, and quite a lot of seating. Payment is by buying from a ticket machine, and I think it's cash only. Parking is in front of the shop, with a second lot a little farther away.

This is it! This shop has a quality that truly qualifies it as Sumire-style, and it's extremely delicious. The umami of the soup really comes through, and it has a charm that makes you want to come back as soon as you take one bite. This time I had the regular miso, and I was very satisfied. Next time I'd definitely like to try the spicy miso too. Thanks for the meal!
