Japanese curry restaurant

A soup curry restaurant focused on spiciness, cooking each dish individually rather than preparing it in advance. 札幌ピカンティ opened in 2000, but its roots, VOYAGE(ボイジュ), opened in 1996 and is one of Sapporo's long-established soup curry restaurants. ピカンティ駅前店 is an independent restaurant officially authorized to carry on the original restaurant's name. The ingredients used, including the spices and soup, are exactly the same as at the main restaurant. The interior is small, and we do not have room to store large luggage. We sincerely apologize, but please leave large suitcases and similar items in storage before visiting. Seating is limited, so queues may form during peak hours. Please visit at a different time…

A soup curry restaurant in Sapporo specially chosen for our trip — it’s said to be very famous. And indeed, it truly lives up to its reputation! The flavor was amazing, the presentation beautiful, and the whole experience was a wonderful culinary delight.

Waited for about 30 minutes late lunch time during weekday before getting inside. Great place as the last meal before catching my flight. The meat was tender and flavorful, soup was a bit spicier than I expected, in a pleasant way. All the veggies are all very well cooked and tasty as well.

The curry had a mild flavor with a subtle spiciness. It goes down easily without feeling heavy. However, I personally felt that the taste of curry at GARAKU was deeper and more complex, with the flavor of fried vegetables also standing out much more.

Very yummy! Soup curry brought herbal smell making people hungry! I chose "light version" , which you can see from photos that the soup was clear, and tasty! Smell so good. The chicken leg was fried, but so tender and juicy! Rice has herbal aroma too...... Warm and perfect with the soup and vegetables. Waiters are nice and will try very hard to understand your need and order in simple English vocabulary. Tons of people fired a long line, better to come before lunch or dinner time. Even 5 min earlier will be more conformable and no need to wait!

This soup curry is very rich and flavorful with a subtle hint of spice. I think the quality is one of the tops of Sapporo soup curry It's a popular restaurant, so you're likely to have to wait in line.
