I'm an unabashed foodie. Love love good food. I've had some of the best food all over the world, and yet this restaurant is one I tell everyone that will listen, is one of the best I've ever been to. The owner/sushi chef is so exceptionally gifted. He picks and sources the best ingredients. His sous chefs (women) are also very talented. One of them won an award in Japan for her desserts. And they are mindblowingly delicious. Remarkable really. The eel..omg. The uni...omg. nearly ever dish was so incredible. You will leave full, happy, and overjoyed you had the pleasure of eating here. If at all possible, sit at the sushi counter and not a table.

Oshidori is a wonderful sushi restaurant! The chef is so crazy that if he sees that your portion is not enough, he will add some more to your plate in the middle of the meal with no extra charge. Do sit at the sushi bar ! The portion of each dish is more than adequate. The food quality is fresh and delicious! For sure we will go again before we leave Sapporo ❤️

Hands down the best omakase we’ve ever had in my life. The amount of uni we were served was just incredible. Everything was so tasty and fresh. The chef and his two assistants were so incredibly friendly and kind. Despite us not speaking Japanese, they went out of their way to use a translation app to communicate with us and tell us about each dish. Incredible service. We already made reservations to go again next week :)

Even though I don't speak great Japanese, the staff was very friendly and helped to explain each dish in simple Japanese. I learned quite a few things about Hokkaido and seafood in general! The chef and other patrons were also very friendly and conversational. While they did not have staff who speak English, you could get by with using a translation app if needed. They are considerate of people with allergies and will ask for your preferences on soy sauce and wasabi (whether you would like to add it yourself or have them add it). I ordered the 12 course nigiri set, and it was all very fresh and tasteful. The highlight for me was definitely the anago nigiri. ぜひ、また食べに行きます。

Extremely friendly staff and chef. Thanks you, I truly do appreciate it from the bottom of my heart ❤️. Despite the language barrier, they tried not only their best but beyond. I am very moved and honestly the food is truly amazing. I have never tasted sushi this fresh and I think I will never expect hospitality at this level again. I was served an extra serving of sea urchin thanks to the generosity of the chef as I have not consumed it the proper way I urge all of you even if you don't speak Japanese to give it a visit. You will be daijoubu The other guests I met were so friendly, I forgot that I was in foreign land. Truly thank you 😊 🙏 Sorry if I was rude, I'm not used to japanese customs
