I used it for lunch and ordered the shrimp Okinawa soba. It was creamy with a nice shrimp flavor, and the chashu was thick, tender, and delicious. Rice comes with lunch. For after-meal dessert I ordered the Okinawa salt pudding and a Hateruma Island brown sugar latte. I could taste a rare sweet using Okinawa's Yonemars salt. It's nice to be able to taste Japan's southernmost sweets and an island latte in Japan's northernmost land. By the way, if you order the salt pudding, you can wash and take home the Ryukyu glass in the photo. A nice service. The floor is divided into the first and second floors, it's a newly opened shop, and PayPay is accepted.
View on GoogleI'm a local. I ate goya champuru, soki soba, and the dessert beni-imo katalana. I considered the lunch set with salad and rice, but ordered a la carte. Yep, delicious! That's my impression. There was a comment that the soki soba tasted light, but it was just right for me. Satisfied. Maybe my body just doesn't crave that much salt. I also ate the goya champuru eagerly. The awamori all-you-can-drink taps at each seat are charming. And I think it's 780 yen, so it seems worth trying. It seems you can also mix it with soda, so I'll incorporate that into my next order. The dessert was good too. I want to try other dishes as well. They seem to have banquet plans too, so I'll consider that. The staff were friendly and warm, which was enjoyable.
View on GoogleAbout a 15-minute walk from the north exit of Sapporo Station. An Okinawan izakaya near Fighters-dori. In the daytime it operates as 'Kafuu' with a lunch menu, and at night as 'Shimanchu no Takara' as an izakaya. When it first opened, 'Kafuu' was a cafe with sweets and so on, but now it seems to be just lunch set meals. There's also a sales corner for 'yachimun' Okinawan pottery, Ryukyu glass, etc.
View on GoogleI had the soki soba set meal for lunch. The gentle soup with bonito dashi and the firm, chewy noodles typical of Okinawa soba were delicious! If I had to say, I'd have been very satisfied if the soki were a bit bigger. The jushi (seasoned rice) and sides were all authentic and delicious, with good volume, and I thought it's quite good value! I'm also curious about other menu items and the night menu!
View on GoogleFor lunch I ordered the soki soba rice-salad set in a large portion. I've never had soki soba before, but I don't know what the broth was made from, it lacked umami, and neither the noodles nor the rice went down at all. If anything, the soup was like the water after boiling pork belly. The soki was the same. Also, the large portion was +250 yen but the amount was no different from a regular portion at an ordinary shop. I won't be returning.
