My partner and I dined here twice during a one-week stay in Sapporo- one visit wasn't enough to satiate our curiosity for their menu. This is one of those spots that you know is special from the moment you walk through the door. Incredible concept and execution of playful takes on traditional bistro fare highlighting local ingredients. The drink menu isn't playing second fiddle either, it's one of the features (the craft lemon sour was outrageously delicious, the beer menu is stellar, the natural wine selections are concise but carefully curated). This became a destination restaurant for the next time we're in Japan and if these folks were doing this kind of thing in San Francisco or NYC they would be superstars and booked out for months. What a treat!

Ended up eating here 4 times during my stay on Hokkaido. Great service from a superb team, and amazing food! Update November 2025: still amazing! Update April 2026: still amazing!

Awesome food and hospitality!

A place to enjoy natural wine and craft beer. The assorted appetizers, pasta using seasonal ingredients, and meat dishes were all exceptional! There are counter seats and tables, with an atmosphere suited to everything from solo drinks to a girls' get-together. A lovely place where adults can relax, with care and attention evident in both the food and drinks✨

A lovely restaurant with delicious food. They have pasta, meat dishes, and various appetizers. The short pasta with lamb and shungiku, roasted venison, and the pitch-black garlic paste served alongside it were really delicious! The staff are pleasant too! The atmosphere is good... but the large group of young people behind us happened to be far too loud, so I thought the experience could sometimes be hit or miss. This is just my personal wish, but I felt the drink selection was a little lacking. That said, I had beer and then kept drinking sparkling wine (the sparkling wine paired well with the food and suited my taste). We went at my daughter's request, but I'd like to return myself too!
