Easily my favorite coffee spot in Sapporo. It’s the perfect mix of a kissaten’s vibe - think low lights, wooden furnishings, bar seating, etc - with a specialty coffee shop’s bean selection. The pourover is done with a cloth filter which I often find more tasty with the oils. The barista is a bit reserved, but kind enough to engage in conversation about coffee brewing. The one cake I got was fantastic with the cold butter reminding me of Kaya toasts. On top of all these, the music selection is relaxing.

This cafe is great for foreigners or locals. They have a wide array of vinyls they’re always playing. They don’t do lattes, but the coffee and sweets are excellent. It’s one of those places that only has a few coffee options, but each option is excellent. My girlfriend and I both got two different coffees and shared a piece of chocolate cake. It’s quaint and cute and a great retro cafe for those who love the retro cafe vibes.

Cool place with an even cooler vibe. Had the orange cafe au lait and it was delicious. Quiet place with both foreigners and locals. Bring your wit and cash. This place is cash only and no WiFi so you have to talk to your friends. A great way to end the day.

Very good cold brew coffee. Great vibes. Randomly walked past and went in - did not regret at all. What a gem! Menu is all Japanese but Google translate will solve the issue. We ordered cold brew, royal milk tea and hazelnut chocolate (400yen). Choc was so great, went so well with my cold brew. Loved every second of the experience.
