I no longer felt like eating ramen, found this place, and visited for the first time. When we entered, the restaurant was quiet, with just one other solo customer. There was only one table with chairs, seating 4. The rest was raised seating and a counter. After pondering the menu for a while, we ordered the miso ramen and small fried rice set, plus chicken shio ramen. I wanted plenty of fried rice, so I asked whether they had a regular-sized portion, but they said they only had the small one in the set. A lovely, toasty aroma drifted over while they were cooking, building our anticipation. After a short wait, the bowls arrived. It looked unmistakably like Sapporo ramen and very delicious. The chicken shio ramen had a clear broth and looked delicious too. The noodles were thoroughly Sapporo-style as well. I took an expectant first bite, and it was really delicious. The flavor intensity was good, the noodles were just firm enough and combined well with the vegetables, and I kept eating eagerly. The chashu was large and tasty too. Partway through, I added the grated garlic on the table. It gave it more punch and made it even tastier. The fried rice was surprisingly strongly seasoned, but perhaps that's better when eating it at a restaurant. The chicken shio ramen had a gentle but deeply savory flavor that felt like you could keep eating it forever. It included a seasoned boiled egg too, making it feel like a good deal. It had been a while since I'd had classic Sapporo ramen, and this tasted great and left me very satisfied. The prices are reasonable too, so I'd definitely like to return.
View on GoogleI visited Ramen Naruto in Sapporo. The restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere and is comfortable enough to drop in casually even on your own. The ramen features a rich broth, but the finish is clean and easy to drink, and I enjoyed it to the very end without getting bored. It coats the noodles well, the chashu is tender and satisfying, and I felt the whole bowl was very well balanced. Its simplicity really lets the delicious ingredients and broth shine through. It's a bowl you'll want to eat again and again. The staff were courteous too, making the meal pleasant. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious ramen in Sapporo. I'd like to visit again.
View on GoogleMy first time here. I ordered the shoyu ramen and mini aburi don set. Unlike how it looks? The ramen is light. Crunchy bean sprouts and firm noodles. The chashu was meltingly tender. I was torn between this and the mini fried rice, but I was hungry, so I ordered the mini aburi don. I thought it tasted tangy, and it turned out to be mayonnaise (lol). Personally, I might prefer it without mayonnaise...? Just my personal opinion (lol). I think this is ramen you wouldn't get tired of, however often you eat it. I'll have gyoza next time.
View on Google15 minutes on foot from “Hassamu-Minami Station” on the subway. The noodles are medium-thick curly noodles from Kobayashi Seimen. I ordered shio ramen and mini fried rice for 950 yen. Visited Monday, November 27, 2023. Arrived at Naruto around 11:54. I'd come to Ramen Sakurajima Nishino Honten, but apparently, from April 2023, their regular day off changed from Tuesday to Monday... Around December 2019, that place didn't allow photos‼️ Walking along thinking, “Oh dear〜,” I spotted Naruto and went in❣️ The soup combines pork bones, chicken bones, vegetables, and other ingredients. It's gentle, mild, and well balanced❗️ Both the ramen and fried rice here were delicious!
View on GoogleThe miso ramen has a light, mellow broth, and since the mini fried rice in set D is well seasoned, I enjoyed it without it feeling too heavy. All this for 950 yen is good value, isn't it? Then there's set C, with shoyu ramen and 3 gyoza for 1100 yen. I prefer the shoyu ramen at this place. I like its nostalgic flavor and just-right richness. It's a shame the bowls take a while to arrive. It seems to be run by a married couple: a quiet-looking husband with a craftsman's temperament and a cheerful wife. A comfortable place.
