Meal: Lunch Day Visited: Saturday Budget: ¥750 Closest Station: Soen Reservation Needed?: No Payment: Cash; Credit Kid Friendly?: No English Menu?: No Significantly understaffed during a busy weekend lunch. The menu is limited to only a handful of items - which we generally like - but they were sold out of items, which was disappointing.
View on Google/ The Chinese restaurant I went to the other day had the best CP ever and it was super delicious🫶 \ All this for 750円 is just godly It tastes great too, so at lunchtime it's full and customers keep coming nonstop The beer is good too💗 goes great with Chinese food At Saikoro, they carry #青島ビール and 3 kinds of bottled beer including stout I was curious about the ankake yakisoba too I'll be back☺️✨
View on GoogleI'd done takeout about twice before, but this was my first time eating in. Customer numbers are probably down due to the COVID pandemic, but even so, when I came by just after 6 p.m. on a Saturday, there were 3 groups totaling 4 people inside. I'd never ordered noodles for takeout (I just hadn't, it might be possible), so I had the sanratanmen. Not too sour, not too spicy, not too thick, it was delicious. I finished all the soup too. However, the noodle portion was a lot for dinner, so next time I'll ask if they can reduce the amount of noodles. The dish I keep reordering for takeout is the gyoza. They're different from homemade gyoza, with a distinctive aroma, and very tasty. The smell of oil will cling to your clothes, so watch out for that.
View on GoogleMy first visit in over ten years. The small interior is filled with handwritten menus. It's cluttered, but that has its own charm. These days, a lunch set starting at 750円 is very reasonable, and it's as delicious as ever. It even comes with salad and dessert, so I was satisfied. Thank you for the meal. There aren't many seats, so it's a good idea to avoid peak lunchtime.
View on GoogleYou can eat authentic Chinese food here. The menu is extensive, so it's hard to decide what to order. The garlic chive gyoza was outstanding. They also had a good variety of Shaoxing wine. The restaurant isn't very big, and if anything it feels rather old-fashioned. I recommend it for dining alone or when going out for some Chinese food with a small group.
