【mon‐ichi】😃 The place where I invited a junior colleague who can't drink alcohol to a thank-you lunch on their last day at work, as they're quitting the company😃 ​■Basic info • It's on the 1st floor of the Ohara Apartments. • ​Parking: None, so use a nearby coin parking lot. • ​Seating: Counter seats, table seats. • ​Payment: Sit down and order, pay at the register (after the meal). • ​Hours: 12:00～18:00 Lunch: 12:00～15:00 (L.O. 14:00) Café: 14:00～18:00 (L.O. 17:00) • Closed: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, public holidays. • ​Reservations possible (by phone) • ​Smoking/Non-smoking: Smoking allowed at all seats ​■Situation at the time of visit • ​Date/time: Reserved by phone, arrived at 12:00 • ​Crowding: First to arrive ​■What I ordered • ​Dish: 『Hayashi Rice Lunch Set (with salad and coffee) (1,500 yen)』 『Pumpkin pudding (600 yen) (450 yen if with a meal)』 ​■Impressions • ​Food: The 『Hayashi Rice Lunch Set』 I had been looking forward to since the end of last year was truly exquisite and did not betray expectations! The slow-simmered roux had wonderful richness and depth, with umami filling the mouth. The fresh salad in the set and the tasty after-meal coffee were also of a quality that leaves a luxurious afterglow. The 『Pumpkin pudding』 I added for the celebration was also rich with a superbly smooth texture, and I could fully enjoy a deeply satisfying taste fitting for a special farewell lunch with a junior who doesn't drink. • ​Shop: The shop on the 1st floor of the Ohara Apartments is a very stylish and cozy space with counter seats and table seats. On the last working day of last year it was so crowded I couldn't get in and was frustrated, but this time I made a phone reservation and visited right at the 12:00 opening, so I was able to be seated first. Since smoking is allowed at all seats, smokers can also enjoy meals and conversation at their own pace, which is a charm. ​■Quick note: A hugely popular hideaway-like shop known for its dedicated lunch and café menu. There is no dedicated parking lot, but using a nearby coin parking lot makes access by car smooth. It's open only Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (closed Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed and public holidays), and it gets very crowded at lunchtime, so for an important visit or when you want to secure a seat, calling to reserve beforehand is absolutely the surest way. Not only the hayashi rice that moved me so much this time, but the dessert quality is outstanding too, so it's a highly recommended wonderful shop for an important lunch with someone close or a special reward café time. I had a very satisfying lunch😆

It was so delicious, worth the wait. They were very kind too. The atmosphere of the place is also good. I'm very satisfied, but here are some things to note for Koreans who are going. 1. It's not a non-smoking restaurant. 2. The parking lot in front of the restaurant is expensive ㅜ.ㅜ Other than that, the food tastes great!

Every dish is exquisite!! My super top recommendation is the omurice! In my 40-some years of life, I've never tasted a better omurice than this! I always even get it to take home😅 The master, whom I thought was a man of few words, is actually a fun person. His wife is also knowledgeable and has a lot to draw on, teaching me various things, and I always learn and have fun💕 It's a shop I always go to in Sapporo. A hideaway, calming atmosphere, super duper recommended‼️
