We just happened to walk by ice cream shop. I don't know how they stay in business since they're closed during winter. However, the ice cream is exceptionally tasty. The price is not cheap. My wife and kid loved it. It's located across from the restaurant, so come by for dessert.
View on GoogleWe were walking down the icy path in negative degree winter when we spotted this restaurant in the middle of nowhere. I got the matcha ice cream redbean dessert seen in the picture below. Servicewise, both ladies were quick and welcoming. In such cold weather, the atmosphere in the restaurant was warm, spacious, and homely. The food itself was pretty sweet but not overwhelming. While there is nothing particularly delicious about the matcha ice cream, when paired with red beans, you have a match made in heaven.
View on GoogleLocated right next to a shrine and in a nice neighborhood, it seems to be a popular location for people to have tea and sweet treats. When we were there, it seems the ice cream sundae are the most popular options and I can see why. They look beautiful! We ordered some traditional Japanese desserts: red bean with mochi, and red beat with "soya flower". The "soya flower" is like an extra extra extra creamy and silky tofu. Both hit the spot well. The place has an "one order per customer" policy, so please be aware. The atmosphere is calm and the decor is beautiful. There are large floor to ceiling windows which makes sitting by the window extra nice.
View on GoogleServe homemade ice cream which are very nice - I personally got the Caramel Coffee ice cream and don’t worry it’s not too sweet! The ice cream tubs are takeaway so we ate right outside the store (There’s a bench to enjoy the view of Sapporo) Do note the toilet is only for customers there (Which is understandable, hey it’s a business). To sit down in cafe you need to order from the menu.
View on GoogleI asked for recommendations and this earl grey and cherry combination was delicious and refreshing post hike.
