If you want to casually feel great nature within Sapporo City, I recommend "Masumi no Taki" in Takino. Its biggest appeal is how easy it is to get to. It takes only about 10 minutes to walk from the parking lot on a well-maintained paved road to see the powerful waterfall. No serious hiking gear is needed, and the nice thing is that anyone can easily visit while out for a stroll. Just by walking a little through the sunlight filtering through the trees, you'll encounter pure white spray and negative ions right before your eyes. You can spend a luxurious refreshing time that makes you forget the bustle of daily life.
View on GoogleThe path from the parking lot is paved, so it seemed even wheelchair users could go see it. The water slides down the fall beautifully Ashiribetsu Falls is bold, but this one is elegant. By the way, there is another nameless waterfall next to it.
View on GoogleYou can walk from the parking lot, but you can also rent a bicycle and go right up close. There's a toilet along the way, so it's easy to go.
View on GoogleThe nearby Ashiribetsu Falls is treated as the male fall and this one as the female fall, contrasting the two. As you can see, the water flowing along the rock face creates a smooth impression.
View on GoogleWent early in the morning. There was a tanuki.
