With a meal at our restaurant, the coin parking lot on the grounds of Toko Store Toyohira is free for 2.5 hours. When there are events at Hokkai Kitaeru, using it together with a meal is a great deal. The menu was renewed in March 2023! The Jumbo Chicken Katsu set and Little Spoon curry are still served with the same volume and deliciousness. Please come visit! Group reservations are also very welcome.

A handy spot when you want to fill up properly in the Toyohira-ku area. This time I had one of their signature dishes, the **"Ginger Pork Set (1,280 yen)"**. ■Food・Taste The moment it arrived, the volume caught my eye. The main pork, unlike the recent type that pursues tenderness, has a solid, chewy texture. It's a bit firm, but that actually gives the satisfaction of "eating meat". The fat balance deserves special mention. The sweetness of the fat coated perfectly in the sauce, together with crisp onions, literally makes the rice "unstoppable". This bold seasoning must be irresistible for white rice lovers. ■Atmosphere・Clientele The restaurant is lively, and at lunchtime it's busy with nearby office workers and locals. What's interesting is the orders around you. You see "Little Spoon's Katsu Curry" being carried out with very high probability. When that nostalgic aroma drifts over, you can't help wavering, thinking maybe curry next time… ■Overall For a price of 1,280 yen, the amount of meat and the satisfaction are ample. Ideal for a lunch where you want "hearty power" rather than "delicacy". Next time I'd like to come back and tackle that curry everyone around me was absorbed in. Thank you for the meal.

I went to Shimamura and got hungry, so I came here for the first time in 4 years. I went at 12:30 on a national holiday, but since I was alone I sat at the counter. The table seats were crowded. Four years ago I had Little Spoon's curry and it's still there. This time I had the cod in black vinegar ankake sauce. I got a regular portion of rice, but I was full. The sauce was just right and I got plenty of vegetables like green pepper, onion, lotus root, and carrot. There are lots of menu items, so I think I'll try something else next time.

I ordered the chicken katsu curry. I got the large size so the volume was there. But considering it costs about 1200 yen, I thought the value was poor. The katsu had a lot of breading, and there was no fukujinzuke or the like. Above all, the curry is very sweet. These days there are many good retort curries and curry roux to make at home, so I thought the taste wasn't worth eating at a restaurant. Given the volume and taste, honestly I think 750 yen, 800 yen at most, is the limit.

I went to eat Little Spoon's curry, as expected Little Spoon is delicious, The chicken katsu is crispy and tasty I'd like a Big Chicken Katsu on the curry too. They used to sell retort packs, but it seems they don't anymore, which is a shame

The only place where you can eat the curry of the now-defunct Little Spoon. If you're after a nostalgic taste, do come, though the amount of rice was large (lol).
