In Sapporo's Sosei East, near Nijo Market. "Kissaten Kotomoshi," within walking distance of Bus Center-mae Station and Odori Station, is a coffee shop with the concept "lighting a small lamp for a detour." Between work, in the middle of a trip, or for moments with family. We offer a bit of everyday breathing room that makes you want to take a small detour and stop by. Besides coffee from MIFUJIYA in Fujinomiya, at the foot of Mt. Fuji, there are old-style cream soda, firm pudding, and Basque cheesecake; morning set in the morning, and Napolitan and omurice at noon. In the calm interior centered on the counter, you can spend your own time, whether resting alone, reading, between business trips or sightseeing, or with your children…

Stumbled in one evening looking for a late night cuppa and was greeted warmly by both the staff and the students who come there to study. Has wonderful conversations with them about my travels.

As for "giving back to children"? I had no interest in that at all. I just found homemade ginger ale and homemade craft cola on the menu in someone's Instagram, so I charged right in! Both were a bit weak (for kids?), I think? Personally I wanted something with more punch..., but I also had the omurice, which was fluffy and runny, and the omurice was quite delicious.
