I'm not going to post every picture of the 16 course meal. It was delicious. Place was quiet and empty save for 1 other person and the staff. I didn't see an English menu but the chef explained in very good English both the menu and the pieces as the course progressed. Service was attentive and prompt and altogether the meal (late lunch early dinner) was worth every Yen. I should have ordered a bento box special to go since I had a super early flight the next day!!

This was the best place we ate on our 2 week trip. The food is excellent, every piece of the 16 nigiri set was great. The service was fun and memorable, we walked in with no reservation after visiting the beer museum, and we sat at the chef's counter. The chef was friendly and kind, and although I don't speak Japanese, my girlfriend knows enough that the three of us were able to converse during the meal. The price is 100% fair for the quality of sushi you get.

went there in the middle of the afternoon and it was really quiet. the staff was very pleasant and polite. we got the 12 pieces omakase, which was absolutely delicious! all the dishes served aside (fish soup and pickled vegetables) are also very good, i particularly liked the soup. will come back next time we’re in hokkaido :)

Sushi institution in Sapporo open over 50 years. 2nd generation current chef puts a spin on some of the nigiri and the price is very reasonable for the quality and quantity.

Ordered Omakase 16 pieces, a bit disappointed. Not as great as I thought…. To be honest 6/10. Not worth to come all the way here just for this 😂
