Hearty corn butter miso ramen! They have regular and large sizes but regular is already pretty big. Hope they offer smaller one next time. Dont skip the gyoza, it’s so juicy yet crispy outside. Went on a monday lunch time and there was not much line
View on GoogleVery tasty bowls of ramen! We ordered the spicy ramen (could be spicier - might try the very spicy next time!) and the charsiu ramen. The ramen had lots of vegetables mixed it which was nice and very filling! Service was quick and efficient with a moderate weight (20+ mins). Might come back again before leaving Sapporo.
View on GoogleClassic Sapporo Miso Ramen with thick cut pork chashu slices, very meaty and grilled to perfection. I only had to wait for 30 minutes but the queue built up quickly behind me, and I'm guessing those at the back of the queue would have had to wait close to 2 hours in the cold. Not sure if I would be willing to queue for more than 30 minutes if I were to go back again, it was very good but not 2 hours queue in minus 3 Celsius enough good, if that makes sense? Also pro tip - you need to go into the restaurant to buy the meal tickets before you queue. I lost my place in the queue because I didn't see the posted sign in Japanese, I had assumed it would be the same rule as most ramen spots - queue for your turn to buy ticket. Also no photos allowed of the kitchen area, so please respect the restaurant rules.
View on GoogleA nice local place to try the miso butter ramen. My first time trying the butter version, and quite enjoyed it. It is on a heavier/ saltier side of flavour, but within expectations considering the name. We visited around 2:30pm which was off the lunch time so no need to wait. Standard order does not come with the meat, we ordered 2 pieces, both were a bit on the lean side yet decently soft. Would love to try a piece that has a mix of fat and leaner meat. Staffs are all very friendly. Joining our visit, all other diners are Japanese so I imagine it’s authentic. Would definitely return.
View on GoogleVery standard Miso ramen. Place for the most part. No long wait like at some places nearby and the food is excellent. Be careful of ordering the chashu. Normally places give you slices. Here, they give you steaks. A standard order of the chashu Miso ramen has about 3 or 4 chashu steaks and ad it's amazing. However, the soup is a bit on the saltier side.
