They only have two savory menu items but they really nailed it with the butter chicken curry. It was flavorful, fragrant, light and fresh. It wasn’t spicy but had a mild kick to it, and slightly sweet notes. The fermented butter anko cheesecake is a must try. Incredibly light, creamy, and melts in your mouth. The flavors weren’t overly strong, and while it seems simple, it tasted magical. The mont blanc tart was also pretty good. Its flavors were delicate and not too sweet, with a slight tang from the cassis puree.

My unplanned visit to this small but cosy cafe turned to be one of the most pleasant experiences during my visit to Sapporo. The owner/barista/roaster is really keen on providing a great cup of coffee and pleasant atmosphere to all guests. You can select coffee based on your preference. I chose a set of coffees you can compare the taste of each bean. I chose China unnan and Ethiopia, and both tasted really fruity and jucy. Particularly, China had a strong Oolong tea flavour, so I enjoyed two taste profiles in one cup. I also ordered red bean paste cheese cake with fermented butter, which was excellent. If I hadn't gained weight through my visit, I would have ordered another. The place is not too loud but not too quiet, where all clients are allowed to chat. The interior decor was very cute too. I wish they had an English menu and more vegan options so I could recommend more English speaking travellers to visit this lovely cafe.

My absolute favourite cafe in Sapporo. The charming place is run by a 2-person team of Hiro-san, who does amazing coffee; and his lovely wife who dishes out impressive meals and desserts. There isn't an English menu but Hiro-san speaks fluent English and is always ready to recommend and provide suggestions based on your preferences. I have been there three times and each time I got something different but they always turn out incredible. The craftsmanship for coffee is incredible, and at a very fair price point. A good range of filter coffee are available, and the meticulously crafted cakes and pastries pair really well. Try to get a counter seat if available, and strike up a conversation with the owner - you will gain so much insight about coffee and he'll throw in some recommendations for the city as well. A must-visit each time I am in Sapporo.

This lovely couple makes it look easy. This was some of the best coffee I've had in Japan and I would easily put this experience up against some of my favorite coffee spots of all time. The chicken curry is not to be missed, and I might go so far as to say it might be my favorite chicken curry I've ever had. And if that's not enough, the desserts are as close to perfect as I can reasonably expect. Perfect, just perfect.

Found this little coffee spot in Japan and it absolutely slapped. Proper good coffee, solid curry that hit the spot, and the scones… holy they were actually really good. Light, fluffy, and dangerous. The owner dude lived in Australia for a while so he spoke perfect English. We had a good chat about home, felt like a little slice of Aus in Japan. Easily the best scones I’ve had in Japan let alone in the entire world. Would go back every day if I lived there. 9.5/10 chins
