Meal: Dinner Day Visited: Friday Budget: ¥4,000/person Closest Station: Nishi18 Reservation Needed?: No Payment: Cash; E-payment Kid Friendly?: No English Menu?: No A wonderful chicken restaurant! We loved our yakitori and chicken bowl. The signature zengi was also 美味しい ! The otoshi is more expensive than average (¥800), but it comes with two different dishes. The restaurant is cute, set in an old style home. The service was very friendly. Next time we’ll try to chicken hotpot!
View on GoogleA small local restaurant specialized in chicken and soba noodle. Wanted to try the soba noodle at lunch time but sold out unfortunately. Then chose their second signature chicken and egg rice bowl (親子丼 oyako don). It’s delicious with nice smell of grilled chicken with the always fresh Japanese raw egg on the top! 最高! Price is a bit too high though and location is quite far away from the city center, so it is not quite convenient.

View on GoogleThe sori-less was fantastic!! For the skewers, you can eat rare cuts, but note that they change depending on what is stocked that day. On the day I visited there were 3-4 kinds of rare cuts, but quantities were limited, so we were asked to choose only one kind so that other customers could eat them too.
View on GoogleIt has atmosphere. That was my first thought. And the dishes served one after another were delicious too. This time it was a course with all-you-can-drink for 8,500 yen. The beer being Premium Malts' Kaoru Ale was great too. The refreshing beer goes well with the robust seasoning. This time I chose the shamo sukiyaki, and while it was of course delicious in itself, the oyakodon to finish was outrageously good. (By the way, it's wonderful that you don't have to save any of the shamo from the sukiyaki for the oyakodon.) It was a really great time.
