Be sure to double check your schedule and time your visit to this museum as it's only open on limited timeslots. We went here after visiting Hokkaido university as there is a semi direct bus route. We only had like less than 1.5 hrs for this since the walk to the museum inside was long in the heat of summer. If you're short on time, don't do like us when we went in the park and had picture taking stopovers outside with the trains on display. Go straight to the museum housed at the back. It didn't help that we don't understand japanese. We blitz thru the museum. Not much English descriptions available but still all very interesting. Great find for train buffs out there!!

They are only open on 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month ☹️

If I come here my laziness slice away like tiki tiki (not for real) I like it.
