Coming from Canada—the land of amazing Alberta beef—I suddenly realized I hadn't eaten lamb for almost two years! 🤭 So when I found Hitsujishi Genghis Khan in Susukino, I knew I had to give it a try. What a fantastic decision! The all-you-can-eat option was exactly what I needed because I didn't have to worry about "saving my quota" and could simply enjoy every bite. Best of all, although it's AYCE, they never compromise on quality. The lamb was exceptionally fresh, tender, juicy, and full of flavour, with none of the strong gamey taste that some people associate with lamb. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and made the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. Great food, great service, and excellent value—it was one of the most satisfying meals of my trip to Sapporo. If you're visiting Susukino and love Genghis Khan, don't miss this place. I know I'll be coming back the next time I'm in Sapporo!

The fresh mutton quality speaks for itself. The shoulder and loin meat are the best cut in terms of texture and umami taste. There isn’t a strong mutton smell or taste. Definitely worth trying in Hokkaido. If you are unsure on the portion or what to order, you can get the recommendation from the staff.

I am a solo traveler and got recommended this place by local. The host was very engaging and even spent time to explain each item that was brought my table. In Singapore our lamb is very gamey but here it was nice… a little fatty but still beautiful

First time trying Genghis Khan in Sapporo. The lamb had no strong odor and was very tender and soft. The staff were friendly, and the owner was very cool and stylish. Nice restaurant and a great experience for our first visit.

The host was very accomodating. The mutton meat was really tender. I recommend tourist coming to try yakiniku.
