I am not certain how long has it been since the conception of an Ebi-based ramen but man, Haruichiya truly delivered. We came across this ramen shop by chance since the one we intended to go to was closed that day. We were happy that fate brought us to this shop and easily one of the most delectable ramen I've ever tasted in Japan. The staff was very courteous too which made the experience much more unforgettable. Wishing Haruichiya nothing but continuous success centered on its specialty, Ebi ramen!! 🍜😋
View on GoogleBest miso ramen! The soup is rich and has a smokiness to it. Yummy! The noodle is not undercooked as mentioned by the other reviewer. It’s just al dente as it should be. We tried the prawn ramen too. Had a rich prawn taste. Very scrumptious! Will come back again. Sorry no “before” photos as we ate too fast. Here’s one after….😂
View on GoogleI've eaten lots of ramen—the miso ramen here is the best ramen I've ever eaten in my life. There is magic in the broth, a depth of pork and char and umami that I've never tasted in another dashi. The chashu pork is unbelievably tender and tasty—if the rest of the ramen sucked, the pork itself would be redeeming enough for a 5-star review. Important point: I ate at menya saimi, the famous ramen spot across the street. It's *nowhere near as good* as here, despite being able to always walk in here and there always being a line at menya. I stayed in Sapporo a month and ate at least half a dozen meals here.
View on GoogleThis is a belated review. Today I have urge to have ramen and immediately thought of this ramen shop I visited in Sapporo in June with my family. The flavour unami or whatever you want to call it, has etched a permanent memory in my brain. The broth is something I have never tasted before. And this is coming from a picky ramen eater. The first visit leaves me hooked that I went back again during the end of my Hokkaido trip. I wonder if they accept apprentice??
View on GoogleOrdered black ramen and dry ramen with dipping sauce. Both are super tasty and delicious. Staff know abit of English to help you order. Vibrant and casual atmosphere makes this place truly enjoyable for a meal. Highly recommend.
