Harako is a great find! It's family-owned, really cozy, and the owner is awesome at helping you through the Japanese-only menu. We had a bunch of sushi, sashimi, some cooked dishes, and a couple of bottles of sake, all for just SG$140. Totally worth it for a group of four. There's an open-spaced carpark just opposite of the restaurant.
View on GoogleThe chutoro in the Omakase 5-piece set was especially delicious. I forgot to take a photo, but the miso-grilled silver cod has just the right amount of fat, recommended! Besides that, the raw oysters were also delicious. The fruit liquor comes in small amounts, but it's cheap at 400 yen, and you can drink Ume no Yado or somewhat better sake.
View on GoogleSushi, Dishes, Local Sake Harako" in Chuo Ward, Sapporo, about a 3-minute walk from Naebo Station, is a solid sushi shop that's perfect for wrapping up a trip. The interior has a calm Japanese atmosphere, with counter seats and a raised tatami area, making it easy to use whether alone or in a group. At lunch, the "Today's Fresh Chirashi" generously topped with fresh ingredients, with salad and soba, is a surprisingly good value at 750 yen. At night, the appeal is being able to enjoy sake with seasonal dishes such as monkfish liver, simmered oysters, and tachi tempura. It's also recommended for those who want "one last taste of Hokkaido seafood" before boarding a plane. Close to the station, its location and offerings are the best for savoring the taste of Sapporo with lingering reluctance. If you want to end your stay in Sapporo deliciously, "Harako" is the answer.
View on GoogleI'd heard from a work acquaintance that this place is good, so I came without a reservation. By the way, the person who told me has the same name as the shop. By chance, one counter seat was open, so I went in. Since I had prior information that the mackerel sushi is delicious, I ordered the half size without hesitation, and to see how things were, I ordered tachi tempura. While waiting with a beer in hand, the tachi tempura arrived. The fluffy, melt-in-your-mouth tachi tempura was incredibly good. After a while, the mackerel sushi appeared! It was bigger than I expected! Delicious just as its reputation says. It's even too much for one person. I'm full. The amount is enough to share among 2 or 3 people. So that day I gave up on nigiri, ordered à la carte dishes and kept drinking. The squid and udo with vinegared miso was also delicious. The aroma of the udo is good. Ended after 3 glasses of beer. All-you-can-drink is for 2 people or more. This time it was a little under about 6,000 yen. Next time I'd like to drink slowly with nigiri as the accompaniment.
View on GoogleEverything you eat is delicious, a shop you can't go wrong with whoever you bring. This shop stands a few minutes' walk from Naebo Station, the station next to JR Sapporo Station. I'd heard from an acquaintance for a long time that it's delicious, so I decided on the day to visit for the first time. The phone handling was also very kind, the service is good, and it's a calming shop. Everything was very delicious starting from the otoshi, but the tuna and mackerel sushi were especially superb. My companion also smacked their lips in delight, saying they'd never had anything this delicious. In addition I ordered the tokujo nigiri. Luxury toppings like sea urchin, abalone, splendid alfonsino, and horsehair crab were substantial. It's an all-star lineup, so delicious that I couldn't find a single complaint. Finally I had matcha ice cream and left the shop. It's a bit far from Susukino, but it's a shop I'd want to go to and recommend even if it means going the extra distance. Please make a reservation and go.
