A house with character, a historic residence more than 100 years old. Step through the entrance and you'll experience an extraordinary space as if you'd traveled back in time. Spend your time in a building whose space lets you feel history dating back to the Meiji era. The courtyard visible from the main hall offers the scenery of each season: cherry blossoms in spring, greenery in summer, autumn leaves in fall, and snowy landscapes in winter. At midday you can feel the pleasant sunlight streaming through the windows, and at night the illuminated lights take on a different aspect, bringing a moment of bliss. A hidden gem that certainly made my day after a long walk around the town. Foods are very authentic. Would recommend everyone to come.
View on GoogleTucked in a small corner right beside the university entrance, this restaurant which is in a very old but well preserved building serves some pretty unique food. The horse meat burger is just sublime, it is much softer and juicer then the beef ones. The patty is paired with onion sauce which is sweet and savoury at the same time. Super worth a visit if you ate in sapporo.

View on GoogleWent to eat at lunch time, very few people, restaurant was empty, no guests, staff attitude was very poor. The amount of meals is very small. I don't think the most basic standards of a restaurant are met. It makes people eat uncomfortable.
