This is my second visit since 2022. Everything is still the same. Love the sculpture blending in the forests. Better to spend at least an hour in this museum.

It is a nice place, with a good buffet restaurant, outdoor exhibits, and special exhibitions, but parking costs extra. Considering the location, I think many people come by car. I think parking should be complimentary for people using the facilities.

2026.6 Seeing overseas tourists visiting Geijutsu no Mori, it seems its value as a tourist attraction in Sapporo is increasing. However, the pond’s maintenance condition in particular may be good for small organisms to breed, but it falls outside the sense of “beauty.

The outdoor museum is fun, and the indoor museum also puts on some pretty good special exhibitions. And that is not all—they hold all kinds of classes, and you can even learn directly from excellent artists! You can also use the workshops to make your own work! It is such a great place that it makes me think, I’m glad I live in Sapporo~. As the name “forest” suggests, it is a little away from town, and taking a bus from the station is somewhat inconvenient, but the buses run fairly often.

They hold various special exhibitions. Many have interesting content, but the drawback is that buses are the only public transport option.
